    So true about oil temp. We should have a neon sign made for the rear window, that can be turned on/off by a switch.

    • @brandons9138
      @brandons9138 2 роки тому +1

      Unless you live where it it is extremely cold you just need to give the car a minute to push the oil through the engine. That is the whole point of multi viscosity oil. It's formulated to flow freely at low temps. I'm in the SF Bay area and it gets mildly cold here early in the mornings, mid 30's are not totally uncommon. After a cold start in about 2 minutes the oil pressure drops and at that point the engine has pushed the oil to all the critical parts of the engine.

    Very good tips. I’ve had my 14 ST3 since March 2015 and have put on 94k miles. Only issues I’ve had are apparently common on this car.
    The first is a leaking Motorcraft battery. My battery leaked and corroded on the negative terminal. I had to replace the entire negative connections since the acid ate through the terminal cable and sensor.
    The second issue I had was coolant leaking from the passenger side heater hose. This is a relatively simple fix once you remove the cowl, battery, and air filter box.

It would almost feel like I completely lost my brakes. Also, I noticed that there was a loss of power at high RPMs when flooring it on first or second gear. it’s 2013 st2 I bought it stock with 32k on it it’s now at 68k and raising. It lowered on springs and new struts probably 15k miles on them. It has 2.5inch straight pipe from the cat back. Can come with a 3inch catless downpipe and an accessport
    Got other small mods like sound symposer delete and fswerks short shifter with solid shift cable bushings and solid shift mounts
    And I also have a Cobb RMM that’s not on the car"" its red and looks clean. I need a daily and drive a 2006 rsx type s. But need a upgrade. Does his car sound ok for a daily. I wanted completely stock but his price and miles are hard to pass up he is asking 13,000

    Changing the oil at 3000 miles is a waste these days. Even with conventional oil, you can go 5000. There are oils that will go 10,000 or even 20,000. The Focus ST has sensors that evaluate the oil quality and will tell you when to change it, it's not based on a mile interval.
