It doesn't matter if you're a 16 year old boy or a 40 year old man, you will fantasize about 20-25 year old women. Period. That's scientifically proven. The end.

Only Anonymous same here... I LOVE older guys and I can’t control myself when I see a hot one... I’ve always been like that, I’m 18 and I only feel attracted by men in their 30s or 40s
@Blaise 2067 Bullshit. There's never been more than a couple of girls in any of my groups (Highschool and Uni) who fancied older men, maybe 10% of the total. As for myself I always ever since teenage liked guys a couple of years older and at 40 something I prefer men by a fair margin younger and I wasn't the only one. Yes there are women who like older men. But "natural"? Nope, it's not the standard and the only reason women mated with older men for eons was because they were married before they had a choice by the parents decisions.

@@dougiemccullough4250, what does criminally unconvicted mean?
i miss music like the CARS and the POLICE, nothing sounds like this now
the POLICE CARS do...
Sting with that kind of glasses looks like Megamind when he becomes into a human disguise.
Bernaaaard!
Best comment.
OMFG I KNEW HE LOOKED FAMILIAR😂😂😂😂
Oh shit lmfao high as shit 😂😂😂😂
Yes.
When Sting takes off his shirt and looks at the camera he knows EXACTLY what he is doing.

With each decade that passes their tunes get fresher and fresher! I will never ever grow tired of their singles.
Hi I recommend a Song called 'the bond villain' By Robert Nix
This song goes out to Justin Trudeau!
the coolest dorky band ever; in all their videos the drummer just jumps around like a mad man, sting tries to keep a str8 face while showing off his arms, and the bassist is the serious one providing balance. All the videos cost about 4$ to make as well, clever
cory silva Sting was lead vocals and bass. Andy Summers was the guitar and Stewart Copeland was the drummer.
@@raylampert1243 thx man
And today's videos are worth $0 cause they all suck.
This video is pretty much the antithesis of Bonnie Tyler’s “Total Eclipse of the Heart”, in every way possible except theme.
Sting is the bassist, cory silva!
there is something so attractive about sting and still today he is so fit
Libra man
I just love the way he shakes his head at the books like "am I teaching idiots or stupid idiots?"😂😂😂
You wouldn't get away with making a song with those lyrics today
But singing about your ‘WAP’ and your guy’s ‘Anaconda’ is fine.
😂😂 yeah it's kind of sad
I still like to think you might…
I can’t understand most lyrics so I have no idea what they are singing other than “Don’t stand so close to me”
@MaeRose26no it’s not lol
I have a buddy who stopped teaching for this exact reason. He was 26 and just hung up his football cleats. the girls were 17 and telling him how hot he was.. he shared with me some of the comments and he decided "I can't do this everyday and im not going to ruin my life" So he quit! I laughed back then but I get it now. Smart move.
@@clashdivision7796 ?
Clash Division It’s actually very normal and natural. Pretty sure any normal person has had, still has crushes on people significantly older than them.
@@emmerencecarter4484 I'm looking at you Ms.Gibbs, science was my favorite subject
@@clashdivision7796 I’m not being funny but the age difference there isn’t even that bad. But still I don’t think students should say shit like that to teachers
@@clashdivision7796 Are you retarded? All people (men and women) fantasize about dates that are at OPTIMUM sexual reproductive age. That means men of all ages will always fantasize about women who are in their early 20's, no matter what the age of the boy/man is. It doesn't matter if you're a 16 year old boy or a 40 year old man, you will fantasize about 20-25 year old women. Period. That's scientifically proven. The end.
This album and synchronicity is so underrated for real.
I have rocked with them from the first album. Many awesome concerts.Timeless Classic here.
wait till you hear them through scrantonicity! lol
not at all.
Fun fact their last album was called Synchronicity. Pun intended?
Synchronicity is definitely not underrated, it was in fact their biggest success (and for a good reason) and they were already huge when it was released, so guess what. Zenyatta Mondatta might be underrated but Police themselves don't have a high opinion on it either, it sounds very rushed out and underproduced like they actually admit.
This song has such a weird contrast in verse/chorus
Not really. Same driving rhythm in both.
The verses are in a minor key and the chorus is in a major key. Thats probably what you are hearing
It's not a song but a masterpiece and a hit. Who's listening to this masterpiece in 2024?
Your mom, probably.
ME too 🤣🤣🤣🤣😁😁😁😁😁
@@lefkytheshinwhose too hot for you 😂😂😂😂😂😂 eh this is good stuff good music and video
I do
Listening since 1981!!!!!
Post new wave, pre alternative... Perfect for exactly what we as Rock music enthusiasts needed and wanted at the time. Truly one of the best in their category/ genre!!!
Now i'm older i know what this song is about.
close your ears young lady.. haha jk
Sophia M.B haha, know how you feel :D
do you also understand Roxanne? XD
Sophia M.B It be like that sometimes when you work with younger girls. Really annoying and frustrating.
It's about proper elevator etiquette I think
It's ironic how I listened to this song years ago when I was in middle school and had a crush on my teacher, and I'm still listening to it because I still like men way older.... some things never change
Edit: Actually dating a middle school teacher now, as an adult 😂
Edit: we broke up 😢
If we're going biologically... scientifically women mature faster than boys, that's why most women prefure older men who have already matured rather than the little boys they end up babysitting.
want my number?? lol
Only Anonymous
same here... I LOVE older guys and I can’t control myself when I see a hot one... I’ve always been like that, I’m 18 and I only feel attracted by men in their 30s or 40s
Blaise 2067 Lol its more like daddy issues
@Blaise 2067 Bullshit. There's never been more than a couple of girls in any of my groups (Highschool and Uni) who fancied older men, maybe 10% of the total. As for myself I always ever since teenage liked guys a couple of years older and at 40 something I prefer men by a fair margin younger and I wasn't the only one. Yes there are women who like older men. But "natural"? Nope, it's not the standard and the only reason women mated with older men for eons was because they were married before they had a choice by the parents decisions.
Sting is such a great bassist tho. People usually talk about his songwriting skills & vocal but his bassline is always SOLID! They're my fav trio ever. What a super talented musicians.
One of the most popular songs ever made by The Police. The track continues to resonate with the fans even today. Absolutely phenomenal!
@@wideye2901 This is one of those songs that would get stuck in my head when I was younger. It's an enjoyable song that certainly brings back memories 😊.
This song always reminds me of that episode of Friends where Joey advertises for VD
Me too. :D
Just watched it today
Had to watch that episode after you wrote this lol x
Exactly why I came here haha.
Why I'm here lol
I like that Stewart throws things at Sting’s head.
How they dance to the song, is the same vibes I'm having. Makes me smile at the fun they're having! Fan4Life!!
Such an insanely good song. Great verse/ chorus dynamics, hilarious witty lyrics, and brilliant instrumentation as always
isn’t this about a teacher coming onto a student
@@addisonmorgan8433 Student onto a teacher, still really creepy and in no way "Hilarious and witty"
@@furcornmanwiththemasterpla8380 fr
@@furcornmanwiththemasterpla8380 A year late, but the lyrics absolutely are clever. If you'll actually pay attention to them and consider them as opposed to the soft and frankly pitiful stance of "Creepy! Bad! No!", stomping your foot like a toddler. You don't have to condone problematic relationships to like this song and/or appreciate the strong lyrics.
@@FF009A I didn't say that the song is bad, or that we should avoid uncomfortable topics in song lyrics, that's the exact opposite of what I believe. I just said that the song isn't funny, and it's not meant to be.
One second you're watching every step I take now you're telling me to not stand so close to you? Make up your damn mind!
Stuart Copeland is one of my favorite drummers! Outstanding off time and tempo!

First minute and change of this song is probably one of the coolest and most exciting moments of music in all time !!!

What a phenomenal group of musicians
a female student has a crush on a teacher, and the teacher knows. That's what I got from this song....
There's also the guy raping her in the car but that's just a minor detail isn't it?
well, and he is tempted by it, but it does not imply that something happend between them so yes it is uncomfortable but not reprobate cause what we feel is not our choice
@@kazzymiller wtf? who's raping? you mean the lyrics -
Wet bus stop, she's waiting
His car is warm and dry
where do you see rape there?
plus
1. nowhere does it say the girl got into the car
2. we're not even sure that these lines were taken from his thoughts - they could have been taken from the girl's - she's planning what to say - "oh mr. Sumner - can I please take a ride with you? your car is warm and dry..."
Jajaja 😔
Wow! Aren't you a prodigy!
Did you also get the part about the teacher having feelings for the student too and yet knowing that it's inappropriate? Hence the song title.
80s music is forever iconic
Just another brilliant song that still sounds brilliant today who agrees with me.
This song should be always be playing at the following locations:
- Supermarket.
- Subway.
- DMV office.
- Voting precinct.
ATM
😂😂😂
Steel Here it does play at the grocery store 😂
Public bathroom
Subway, when Jared Fogle was spokesman :P
Who's the biggest criminal here?
1) Sting, for lusting after young girls
2) Stewart Copeland, for smoking
3) Andy Summers, for that fake guitar solo
Andy, without a doubt. Faking a guitar solo is worthy of the death penalty in some countries.
It's actually about how the girl likes the teacher ?
Well actually he was doing a guitar solo. In the song he played chords plugged into a synth effect pedal, so he actually was playing those synth noises. Look it up.
Andy was actually playing his guitar through a synthesizer (A Roland guitar synthesizer at the time) And he'd tune it to 5th's and play 'strange chords' as he once said in a documentary.
It's funny, yet we all know sting didn't actually like young ones..
Young teacher, the subject
Of schoolgirl fantasy
She wants him so badly
Knows what she wants to be
Inside her there's longing
This girl's an open page
Book marking - she's so close now
This girl is half his age
Don't stand, don't stand so
Don't stand so close to me
Don't stand, don't stand so
Don't stand so close to me
Her friends are so jealous
You know how bad girls get
Sometimes it's not so easy
To be the teacher's pet
Temptation, frustration
So bad it makes him cry
Wet bus stop, she's waiting
His car is warm and dry
Don't stand, don't stand so
Don't stand so close to me
Don't stand, don't stand so
Don't stand so close to me
Loose talk in the classroom
To hurt they try and try
Strong words in the staffroom
The accusations fly
It's no use, he sees her
He starts to shake and cough
Just like the old man in
That book by Nabokov
.
thanks
🎶Don't stand, don't stand so, don't stand so close to me.🎶
Thanks for the lirycs
I always love these comments they make life so much easier
Sting was one of my first crushes and this is the first video that I saw of him that did it. I still react the same I did when seeing him as I did as a little girl 😂🙈
Back when songs were all about talent: It's in their lyrics, their singing, the thinking behind the story, the lot.
Yea bro, i'm from Brazil and we just hear shit.
You must have some classic favourites though, surely? :-)
+ReelSerious In Brazil all the teens/young just listen funk, one piece of shit that just talk about sex, drugs and this kind of stuff (and do this with a terrible songs, omg, my ear cry). We dont produce good songs anymore...just the olds keep doing the good work, like: Ultraje a Rigor and Roupa Nova. Our rock is dying very quickly.
Felipe Amorim I understand. We haven't had anything but pop over here for a long time. I don't listen to anything new any more either, just old stuff. Queen, U2, Annie Lennox, Hendrix, Pink Floyd, George Michael, The Police, Bjork, etc. ^_^
Seeing those young fresh faces makes me feel so old! I remember this like it was yesterday. I was 12 years old when this album came out. Blows my mind.
Same here!
The music video's of the 80s definitely captured the artist at their height and with their youth. They are forever immortalized because of the videos. They could all age and die, but they'll always be youthful to us
One of the best bands from 78 -85.
The Police rock and their music is simply amazing 🎉🎉
