8:18 thats how engineers turn PCB traces into FUSE without the need for a fuse. Save 1 cent, kill hundreds of cards, sell more cards. Perfect profit strategy.
Mine has a burned trace exactly where R005 is in your video at 8:10, however, I don't see any broken caps. Not sure where to go from there. I did try to just solder a wire in place and then it went pop after I plugged in and the same trace is blown. So theres a short there somewhere... except mine's short on the opposite side where you measured on that trace.
hello where can you find the wiring diagrams and the boardview of the video cards in general? because they are not easily found .. I have a 3060 ti manli you but I can't find it thank you very much for your kind reply good job
You are wrong, there is nothing wrong with those Zotac cards, I have the same 3060ti and a 3070, both ran more than a year mining ETH and still work great, I just had them running at 140-150W, 60-70c.
It really depends on a lot factors. Some were mined hard, cooling, duration of mining, maintenance and etc...But overall, a lot mining cards have issues later on.
@@gizmosfix Yes many mining cards have problems, usually it's cards that gamers used for mining that didn't know what they were doing and just let it run stock, I did that with the 3070 for the first month and the mem OC went from +1700 to 1500 so I learned how to tune the cards for mining, after that the cards were stressed more in gaming than in mining, 150W mining, 200W+ gaming. I bought plenty of cards from miners and had no problems because most miners keep their assets in good condition.
If it is still under warranty, it is best to return it. Zotac has very strict warranty requirements. Also, if you don't do any mining, Zotac video cards are fine to use.

Exactly, like most iphones right now. Apple almost serialized all the parts, especially the baseband CPU, which is not replaceable.
great vid, I have the same problem, but how do in I know what cap to replace it with?
You need a microscope to see it the burnt capacitor.
@@gizmosfix I was able to see the crack with the naked eye, ended up just removing it, card works again. Is there a way to test a capacitor for uf?

There is no specific one, but they all have a general circuit layout for each Nvidia or AMD. You can search it on the web.
I've searched the web but can't find anything

please tell me the capacitor you replaced, thanks
Watch video, you should see the capacity.
I’ve watched the video twice and I never heard what value the capacitor was. I have the same capacitor cracked and could you supply the value it is?
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it

I am returning my Zotac 😂
