SR15B stands for "SM Rookies 2015 Boys" as far as I know, the MV for Switch has current (2016) and future (added later) NCT 127 members as well as the current SM male rookies during the time including Ten, many NCT Dream members, and trainee Hansol who didn't end up debuting with NCT. Glad you're enjoying NCT :)
As someone said, SR15B stands for SM Rookies 2015 Boys. It had all of the trainees that were part of the SM Rookies during that time (a program where SM promotes some of their trainees). At this time, only 127 had debuted as a fixed unit, that's why it is NCT 127 feat SR15B. All of these boys in the video will debut in NCT later, only one of them didn't make it. This video was recorded when they were all still trainees, and has: NCT 127 (debut line-up) - Taeil Taeyong Yuta Jaehyun Mark and Haechan. Winwin I don't think is in this video, he wasn't part of the SR15B. SR15B: Hansol (didn't make it, left SM), Johnny (added to 127 in 2017), Doyoung (added to 127 in 2017, but had already debuted in NCT U), Ten (added to Wayv in 2019, but had already debuted in U), Jeno, Jaemin, Jisung (the three of them added to Dream in 2016). Not all of the trainees are part of the SM Rookies program. We have many NCT members who were not, we call them "hidden trainees", meaning that while SM would promote some trainees with pocket shows, performances etc, the company would keep others literally hidden - not even their faces or names were known.
Jungwoo....that infamous hidden trainee...they kept his face hidden even when he performs with the rookies...i still cannot get why...anw i m glad he debuted in 2018...n is doing great in 127.
@@aniumar5964 there is footage of Jungwoo dancing behind the Rookies without a mask, but yeah, he was mostly seen with one. It was before my time, though. I don’t know the actual reason, but I suspect that certain trainees who displayed special potential were effectively “hidden” so that other companies wouldn’t find out about them.
I’m really fond of that “Wake Up” performance. The current lineup had been set by then, and Haechan was injured and couldn’t dance on that tour, but was able to participate on certain songs. The dance break is one of my favorites.
36:43 lol get VERY used to this behavior in NCT I enjoyed your reaction so much, it made me SO happy that you actually paired lyric videos with dance practices and concert performances! A performance can definitely take a song from “that was cool” to “holy shit that was amazing” Markyong (Mark/Taeyong rap duo) have several stages together, sometimes with another member or 2 depending on the song: LIT Whiplash (+Jaehyun) Himalayas Hello (+Yuta, Johnny) Undercover Mad Dog (song, track video but no stage) And several instances of them starting off award show performances with an intro rap. Only Whiplash and Mad Dog are album releases, so you’d see those when you get to those albums but you’d have to specifically search for the others.
Loved the reaction. bty since you are also reacting to concert videos remember to react to "back 2 U" live when you do the reaction to the Limitless album. I recommend the one from the channel "maRVel UP"
yes Mark and Taeyong have another stage together at the nct127 concert the link seoul "LIT" or "The Himalaya" also each member have their solo performance at this concert
I think you would like "hello" from the link+ concert it is mark taeyong rapping crazy but guess what yuta and johnny also went crazy. For more taeyong and mark performance watch "lit" and "himalayas" So the concert goes like this himalayas+lit+hello.
The whole group singing in harmonies for choruses is very much an SM thing. It's true that it's really not done much by other groups because they usually make 1-2 members sing their own lines during the chorus. Switch is actually NCT's first ever original song. They used to perform it during their 2015-2016 pre-debut showcase tour as SM Rookies, which is what SM calls the trainees they publicize and are most likely to debut. This video was the VCR played in the big screens while the boys performed. It's one of the few times all the boys got to perform together because for their shows, the performances were mostly split between the hyung-line (Taeil to Jaehyun) and the maknae line (Mark to Jisung.) It was a nice surprise that SM included Switch in 127's debut mini album and also released the video. Also, at the time Switch was made, all the boys pre-NCT were called SR15B, meaning SM Rookies 2015 Boys. It denoted the years that they are active as SM Rookies. Kun and Winwin came in around 2016. Jungwoo was announced as an SM Rookie in 2017, so he was part of SR17B. Xiaojun, Hendery, and Yangyang of WayV were announced as SM Rookies in 2018, so they were SR18B. The only ones who debuted straight into NCT and were never SM Rookies were Renjun, Chenle, Sungchan, Shotaro, and the 4 new boys in NCT Wish - Riku, Jaehee, Ryo, and Sakuya. The only SM Rookies boys who didn't debut into NCT were Hansol, who was in this video, Eunseok and Seunghan who debuted in RIIZE, and Shohei.
Really enjoy the variety you include in your album reactions! So fun x The boys still say that their Fire Truck is the most exhausting choreo they've done (floor work, lifting people, constant hopping...) (The group singing you mention has been a staple of SM groups since basically the beginning and into their 4th Gen groups like aespa and Riize. It's a big part of the vocal signature of a lot of SM groups, especially group choruses. A lot of SM groups also have two or three members harmonising in various places, it's my fav things to hear, all the different combos of voices) Live performance can definitely make a song for me and so many NCT songs are such perfect performance pieces and really have to been seen rather than just listened to, I love it so much. The range that NCT has shown on every one of their albums since the beginning really should keep them from being put into any box but that doesn't prevent labels ever does it? And each of them also has great range, all the rappers can sing well and all the vocalists are capable rappers as well. Anybody who listens to an album all the way thorough would never pigeon-hole these guys
i really like once again (it's always reminds me of summer), switch and mad city. also, i can't wait for you to react to limitless album!! thanks for the reaction :)
I love them all, but Switch has a special place in my heart. 💚😊 I suggest checking out the fancams from their SM Rookies Showcase where they performed Switch pre-debut. Tens especially... he gives a little taste of his b-boy skills during the dance break! Random observation 😄 I noticed the Dean Koontz novel on your shelf... he is one of my favorite authors! If you haven't already read it, I highly recommend 'The Bad Place' by him... the story is suuuuch a trip!
okey so my favoirte song of the album is mad city cos mark is my bias and he goes of on that song. then: SR15B stands for "SM Rookies 2015 Boys" as far as I know, the MV for Switch has current (2016) and future (added later) NCT 127 members as well as the current SM male rookies during the time including Ten, many NCT Dream members, and trainee Hansol who didn't end up debuting with NCT. cant wait for you to continue this journy and to pick a bias lots of love from argentina

I actually follow them since SR15B and The Rookies Show, and it's so amazing to see how well they have all grown 💚
Jungwoo is an example of a hidden trainee. He did officially become a Rookie in 2017, along with Kun and Lucas.
It’s too bad Hansol didn’t make it.

My favorite is Another World. I've been a fan since debut, but since the 'Sticker' album they just flew straight to my #1 group
