Thanks Dan for the illustration. I finally understand what “Stride Jazz” means. It is a style of jazz piano playing in which the right hand plays the melody while the left hand alternates between a single note and a chord played an octave or more higher. There are few chord progression in this song which I like much like Eb-E°7-Fm7-F#°7- Eb/G- G7#5 - Ab6- Db9 etc. I am quite sure about Db9. It sounds dissonant to me. Much appreciated. 👍
