Well yes it was a perfect opportunnity to talk with a titan, but consider this : Miche just fought many titans during maybe an hour or two, he is constantly thinking about what is better to do next, knowing that Wall Rose has been breached, then he is in shock when the Beast grabs and throws the horse at him, he gets his legs crushed TWICE by a titan's jaw, and when he finally can take a moment to consider what just happened, a Titan starts to speak to him fluently. The amount of information, emotion and physical pain, even for a war veteran and such a courageous man, is too much to handle, and it is shown on his face with deep confusion and fear, because he is defenless against something he thought he knew, but surprised him. Also, good reaction, especially from Lia !
You're asking a man who's probably in shock and frightened after being partially bitten and about to be eaten why doesn't he talk to the titan!? He's never heard a titan speak B4, he's in pain and he's in shock! People can be so clueless!
Not criticising them but throughout their AOT reactions they've not been able to put themselves in the shoes of most of the characters in many situations so it's not surprising. I am curious to see if their pov of things slowly change as they get to S4 though. I think overall they will enjoy demon slayer more because it's more straightforward.

Tbf they are casual reactors there is nothing wrong with that. They are just taking the series by face value and thats their right. Thats y u dont c a deeper reaction from them bcz theyre not exactly understanding the depth of the characters

I think they are more story oriented so they don't need to watch no regrets until the end of season 2
