This placement can be summarised by krishna’s words in Geeta “ keep working without being concerned about the fruits of action” . I have this placement and you came very close. The more I ran towards things they ran away from me ; and I got it when I worked without any expectations 👍
This is my placement, this is very informative. It seems pisces seems to say let water evaporate in the way the atmosphere wants to absorb it, virgo seems to say "i spilled water, i must clean it up." It is interesting to think about.
Understanding the Nodes in your horoscope really provides a lot of perspective. Not sure if you are interested, but I have a consultation package offer that allows for multiple sessions with which to explore the karmic factors in your horoscope. Please let me know if you are interested
Very true... I have this placement with Ketu in the 3d house.. took me a while to figure out my problem of working hard and not succeeding. Really had to let go of the attachment to the outcome of my actions..
I have this with Ketu in the third. I experienced doing boxing in my 20's with a very strict regime by my mental trainer. That trainer helped me develop my skills so fast that I started believing in him blindly. When things started to fall apart I didn't know who I was anymore because everything I thought and did were calculated moves orchestrated by that trainer. But even when the regime started to make me feel more lost than on track, I kept holding on to it. Eventually I was kicked out of he boxing club and I started just living day by day. Now I spend all my energy following my inspiration, which is something I didn't have before. I think I needed to go thought that hell of Ketu in Virgo to get to Rahu in Piscies for sure. Now I'm not tempted by situations that might give me success by forcing me submit to a strict regime. The regime that I put on my self is only there to enhance my inspiration. And the ability to have enough discipline to stay in my inspiration is something I got from those hellish years. Because it does take a lot to study, eat right, work-out, practice astrology, and other spiritual exercises.
In Vedic (Sidereal WS) I have Sun, Ketu conjunct Mercury H10. Spot on. I held very disciplined and structured careers until my Saturn return, each time I became too rigid something would disrupt the "order" of my workaholic mundane life. Once I embraced an unconventional career(H10) from home(Rahu H4) I finally found the music of life...I had to find the balance. Some days are still a struggle to remember...but much easier now. great video. thanks for sharing!
I have this placement in Western astrology with Pisces being my north node in the 6th house, and i have found myself learning my boundaries and who i am and living my truth through work and dealing with people. Truthfully, i do seclude myself more and am alone more because im so burned out by people, but im happier being alone to myself because it's peaceful.
Where are your Mercury and Venus? If the Lords of the Nodes are strong, or if they are in a trine or angle rather than a difficult house, this could have that effect.
Yes. I get it . Mercury in Hasta causes Ketu to attach to the thoughts 💭 however we need to learn in this lifetime that we should do it from the heart (genuinely) and not get attached with the mental attachment and the outcomes. Rahu in Uttara Bhadrapada can amplify the need see things either material or spiritual, however U Bhadrapada reminds us that spiritual and material are on the same coin 🪙 and not to attach to either essence otherwise we aren’t in the present moment 😊❤
I have ketu in the 12th house (Virgo) and rahu in the 6th house in Pisces , and I am never in the martial world , and always in my mind and trying to escape reality
Many things would go into determining that beside the nodes. So, not everyone with thes placements would excel with that path and it has to be determined by full horoscope. But now that I have given my disclaimer :
@@MichaelReedAstrologyWow, thank you! It's very kind of you to answer. This is a bit shocking to be honest, Michael. I have Ketu/Gem and Rahu /Sag and I've always been sort of obsessed with finding what true lоve is ever since I remember myself. My restless search for true self and happiness ceased after I found Bakhti yoga. Fascinating!
I've got to disagree w/ one major part. Working hard is more of a Saturnian trait, not a Mercurial one. Mercury is about "working SMART" vs. "working hard". Nevertheless, the desire for order is there in both cases (at least for Virgo, Gemini can be a tricky bastard). It's just that Mercury likes to find short cuts wherever it can. A good example of this placement (albeit not well known) is American mathematician Joseph L. Walsh. Not exactly sure how Pisces relates to his life though (other than him briefly serving in the navy, under which he was promoted in a war in which his country "won"), and not much is known about his religious beliefs. I can't exactly see how this relates to surrender. The only thing slightly related to that theme in his life is that after he retired from Harvard (where he worked most of his life), he briefly came out of retirement and worked at the University of Maryland only to die shortly thereafter 2 months later. I have no idea about his Midheaven placement though as I can't find a time of birth (just the date, and that he was born in Washington, D.C.). I just find his work fascinating. Probably because I have the same nodal placement (in the same sign anyway, the orb is too wide for a conjunction), and was born nearly exactly a half a Saturn cycle after he died on the exact same day.
Virgo is the natural sixth house of the Zodiac. These people overwork themselves due to mental attachment, mercury's Earth sign. With the Pisces element, there is often the concept of escape or release from something. And as always, with celebrity and historic charts, we are only seeing the 'public' part of the picture as not every nuance of their private lives is known by the masses. A lot will also rely on the well being of Mercury and Jupiter. And as I am sure you can acknowledge, everyone will have variances as you cannot do a complete assessment without the person's horoscope. That is why a figurative explanation always serves best.
@@MichaelReedAstrology I'm not so sure about figurative explanations. There's far too many new planets, asteroids, and other nodal axes in modern astrology for my taste. Even the ancients had major disagreements over house systems and how dasas/chronolocators should be calculated. With all this disagreement even before these additional modern "significators" are factored in, it's easy for me as a former atheist to see why some people might see astrology as picking and choosing sets of correlations that just so happen to fit their interpretation the best ex post facto rather than following a standard procedure to make a prediction before the fact, and then have that either pass or fail, but do so in a manner that has to at least work 95% of the time. That said, the astrologer in me has looked at too many natal charts to NOT think that having one's nodal axis in Taurus in the 2nd house will typically at least signify the person will be a horrendously evil financial theorist (see Ayn Rand and Karl Marx. Despite being "philiosophical enemies", both favor an approach to the subject that completely shifts the balance between the public and private sectors of the economy totally to one side. Both have the same placement to within a tight orb). Or having an Ascendant in the last decan of Cancer has seemed to produce some of the most stunningly gorgeous women of all time (see Angelina Jolie and Tiffany Amber Thiessen). There's always exceptions to this of course (Rachel Maddow oddly having her Ascendant in late Cancer. Maybe the Moon was poorly aspected? Lol). Still, there's definitely something to this field, but I'd call it a proto-science rather than a science, or a pseudoscience. There's definitely some 'there there", so to speak. But there's far too many amateurs willing to throw out opinions on the more benevolent end of the spectrum, and far too many evil Masonic bastards purposefully trying to muddy the waters on the more malevolent end. Regardless, I enjoyed the video and I wish you well in your studies.
@@zakhoskins6404 We can agree to disagree on many things and equally to agree on others. What I mean by figurative is that not everyone with a certain placement will have the same precise things. But I speak my observations on Ketu and Rahu had I not seen them bear accurate results after working with thousands of charts over the years. Equally wish you well in your studies.😊
