我們非常幸運能夠生活在臺灣，這裡到處可買到品質很好，很新鮮的食材。我們也感恩上帝為我們供應我們一切所需。
在一家九口人的大家庭中，我們確保每個人都吃得飽。因為我們是一個單收入的家庭，經濟有時會比較緊（但是都夠）。這意味著平時沒有很多零食或奢侈品，但我們在特別的時候也會好好享受！我們每天都在學習感恩我們所擁有的一切，並在各種情況下學習滿足。
我們住在臺灣鄉下，距離城鎮大約12-15分鐘車程，所以外出吃飯或叫外賣並不方便。我的收入和我們的住址位置使我們在準備餐點時必須節儉並富有創意。

We are very blessed to live in Taiwan, where good quality food is readily available. And we are blessed that God provides for our every need.
In our large family (by today’s standards) of 9 people, we care about making sure everyone is well fed. Because we are a 1-income family, money can be tight at times. That means not a lot of snacks or luxuries, but we enjoy them when we do have them! We are learning to be grateful for what we have everyday, and content in all circumstances.
We live in the Taiwanese countryside, around 12 minutes drive from town, so it’s not convenient to eat out or have food delivered. The combination of my income and our home location force us to be frugal and creative with our meal preparation.
Please join us in today’s video where we share with you where we buy some of our weekly groceries. We’ll spread out an entire week’s worth of food on our dinner table to give you an eye-opening look at how much food Christy, our seven daughters, and I eat on a weekly basis. Tell us what you think.
Please also share with us how your family prepares meals, or where you buy your food. What main factors do you consider when choosing what food to buy? Is it convenience? Taste? Price? Nutritional value? A certain farm or brand? A combination of the above?
In next week’s video we’ll share Part 2, and show you how we delegate the meals for each day of the week. The girls are going to whip up some delicious meals!
