I made one of these a few years back, used it to do some nice tablet weaves. Very cool...

2020: "A couple sheets of wood, three to five dollars each"
    2021:
Me: "Here's my firstborn, two-hundred pounds of gold bullion, and my home which has been in my family for generations"
Clerk: "That'll get you one two-by-four. Thirty-six inches in length."

Constructive critisism mate. The only measurements you gave was on the pegs and the width of the starting board. Ive seen you build it and it looks great easy and cheap, but I don't know the length of the bases pieces, or the supports, or where you marked the holes for the pegs. That information would have been really handy if one isn't inclined to go looking at the specifics for themselves. Other than that it's a good overall build mate. Cheers

Good comment. I appreciate the feedback. I am trying to get my plans and patterns up onto an Etsy store - but I'll try to add some dimensions to the description bellow.

Hey man, love the video. How is the tension piece kept in place? Does it simply rest against the loom or have you chiselled a grove for it or some such?

I used glue and screw which held up very well.

Did you make the other videos on using this inkle loom design? Can’t find them. Thanks.

Hi, no, not yet. I've had a hard time with mental health and haven't uploaded videos in a long while. Thanks for the interest though.

you do know that inkle looms are late georgian, and not medieval

True, a lot of re-enactors etc use inkle looms to make belts etc, not necessarily at festivals or events as a historical piece, but it's a useful tool to have.
