Wow I learned something new today concerning implementing inverted pleats on a "PANTS TO SKIRT REFASHION". I did this once on a pair of pants but didn't think to implement INVERTED PLEATS, how genius. I think this project works especially well on a pair of pants with a side zipper as apposed to a front zipper don't you think? Thank you for this tutorial Colleen.
Brilliant, just found you and subscribed. Just started sewing again after 30years. As I'm on a fitted bubget due to disability, thanks again for the help and good work take care Sharon ☺️ xx
Love the idea of the inverted pleat. I'm a newbie, and I'm inspired. I've lost some weight, so I different ways up cycle my (too big) sweats. Thank you😊
Looks amazing 😄 Im a newbie and i came across your channel as i wanted to do this. May i ask, if you didnt want the inverted pleat, would you carry on stitching all the way down? I think im going to try it with the inverted pleat at the back. Thank you for sharing ❤
Afternoon I watched this video. Enjoyed as I have pair of dress pants I'm hoping to maybe make into a nice skirt. Different from my Jean one. Im wondering again how you did the front. It looks like it's together inside a slit? Which is nice I prefer side slits because for me I find front ones tend to.rip lol just wondering how you did the front. Looks so great
Hmmm I think i will just stick to making it straight down on both sides with the split. I need more practice before i try the inverted pleats. Baby steps for me i think ❤
