The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain: You Don't Bring Me Flowers
Вставка

- UOGB performing an amazing interpretation of the Babs Streisand-Neil Diamond hit from the 70s involving many ukuleles each strummed one at a time while being carried by a tuxedoed orchestral promenade moving in configuration worthy of Shriners' tiny car motorcade.
I'm in love with Hester Goodman! I'll bring you flowers, dear!
Must be one of the most entertaining clips ever.
How brilliant are this group.
So unique & so,so talented!
Amazing sounds!
Brilliant, witty, hilarious performance.. hats off!
The lady-singer is both very beautiful woman and a great singer! Wonderful!
EXCELLENT SHOW
never had a thing for b.Streisand ... well but I oh so love this version ... brilliant
I only just discovered this group. They're marvellous! They revived my interest in ukulele. Now I am beginning to learn more about playing the ukulele even at age 75.
These guys and girls are one of our best musicians, they inject humour into songs which often lacks in the original versions, the ukulele is a happy sounding instrument, and the UOGB seem like they love a good laugh, and laughter is the best form of medicine there is, that is why their so polular, and i love the fact that they dont swear on stage, i cant imagine peter saying "if you got something to say, darn well say it or shut the f*** up b*tch!" it would be so out of context, no, they are too professional to be uncouth. I really want to see them live, ill bring my uke along =)
Alexandra Starr Photography was
Watched them for years and this clip is brilliant . 👍🌷
Saw them last week at The Sage, Gateshead, and they were amazing! Peter singing "Thunderball" brought the house down!!
Great fun! What a bloody marvellous idea!!
This is art! A masterpiece!
bloody brilliant!!!!!! that song will never be the same again!!!!!
loved it
Marcel911, the ukes are tuned to the various chords that are needed in the song. So Hester and Peter are actually playing the ukes.
Anybody got a hankie?? I have tears rolling down my face with laughter!! Absolutely brilliant!!
Ah lads it don't get much better than this! You can only fool around when you know you're the biz! Savage!
I love the way they can keep a straight face....I couldn't .... love it!!!!
That is GOLD!!!!!!!!!
You lot are a National Treasure !! Brilliant !
Awh...Kitty. god bless ya xxx
OMG!!! That's like the goddamn BEST thing I've ever seen !!! :-DDD
This is very well performed, they are entertaining a live audience and skilfully exploiting the limitations of their instrument as a vehicle for humour. It is a brilliantly written as a tearjerker, if that is what you want you listen to Barbara Streisand's wonderful performance but how could they raise the spirits of their audience after making them cry. That's not what the audience are here for.
Pure entertainment. Gold.
O que é isso minha gente???????// Como conseguem esta perfeição musical....... PARABÉNSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!
Only just discovered this truly amazing ensemble. They are brilliant. I have a lot of catching up to do.
Sadly Kitty Lux died 2 years ago (green & red ukes).
Hysterically lovely!!
I love Kitty's manner. :D
Very reminiscent of Keely Smith with Louis Prima.

To anyone wondering - they are not a band of midgets, it's just that Peter is 6 foot 9!

I've decided Peter can whisper the grocery list in my ear any time he wants!!!!
I have to watch it again. I wonder what they are all like when they travel and have dinner together? It would be a scream.

Funny Oopsies:
1:33 Dave gives Jonty a Look to get Hester again
1:47 Jonty checks with Dave, who nods
2:04 Jonty heads towards Peter, who subtly points back at Hester
2:17 George forgets about the next note and has to Run
2:24 poor planning; Dave and Jonty revolving doors
2:29 Jonty checks with Dave, who tells him to run to Hester
2:35 George does it again
2:41 Dave gives Jonty a Look to Run to Peter
3:08 Jonty checks with Peter, who points at Hester again
3:25 Jonty mistakenly offers up his uke
3:46 Hester tries Kitty again, who was Not Having It
Conclusion: Jonty has zero (0) clue what’s going on
Some of these are intended 'oopsies' as opposed to the supposed context of your birth.
@@thefastestfox1 what the hell man, I’m just here to have a good time
Needs more cow bell.
Everything needs more cowbell. Guildo Horn knows this.
At first I thought the ambulatory ukeleles were all being held to particular chords, but no, they were pre-tuned. Even funnier. And the green one was the 'borrowed' chord.
RFLOL Thats the funniest thing I've seen in years.
I'm just wondering how they did it, did they tune each uke to a different chord? Thats my best guess....
That is why they are famous and the rest of us are not. Brilliant.
Fuckin' awesome.............
I ship it.
HAHAHA, awesomeeeee, so funny.
Who the hell disliked it???
Really funny, i dont know whats more tiring the hummin or running around keeping up with the strumming :-)
I guess the all had to retune their mandos after this brilliant comedic rendition of an old favourite!
+KyranI an Geraghty UKES!
Did the title not perhaps give you a hint that they just *might* be ukuleles?
@einsrafa not sure that's true
@monkeyrilla5 just a bit! He's 6 foot 9.
Where's the SEND button?
Give us the the thumbdown-icon!
