I've fished this exact spot in the river and you had a lot more success than I did! I thoroughly enjoyed the video and look forward to watching your other ones from the Savannah.
Hey Dave thanks for the invite. I actually tried three times to fish there last year but was unable to find a suitable boat launch because of the Highwater. I definitely studied every inch of that creek and I agree that it is exactly where I like to fish. I am down here again this year so stay tune you’ll probably see it.
So down in a little hell I was trying out Bobby Garland Crappie jigs. The cajun cricket color was killing it if I remember correctly. It’s nice to see somebody else who enjoys ultralight finesse fishing.
So far we been lucky, no Ashen carp, we do have stripers a sturgeon but they hang out more down were I live, way down river from you. Funny fact is on the south Carolina side the crappie have to be 12 inches, but on the Georgia side they can be 11inches. But if you put your boat in on the SC, side but fish the Georgia side you will probably get a ticket! Stupid rules my friend
I love fishing little hell it's good 30 min ride from my house to there but it's worth it

The Savannah National Forest? Never heard of it and I’m a local.
There is no length limit on crappie in Georgia
Come down to my part of the river and give it a try, look on your screen and find Ebenezer creek. I'll tell you some good spots.
