Actually i talked to their tech. He does use some lip syncing, but not for the whole show. You do gotta remember they tour a lot and he doesn't wanna murder his voice.
@19MysteriousStranger He's probably afraid of messing up :P plus he hasn't had too much time to learn all of the songs yet so he's probably concentrating as hard as he can haha

You sound just like lc061084 when you say "99% of the garbage in mainstream rock"... I would beg-to-differ that the vast majority of mainstream rock is no different than Skillet; from religious views to the types of real life problems their songs talk about.
i'm seeing them with stone sour wednesday....i hope he doesn't do this preachy religious BS, because i'll have no issue walking out of the building for the entirety of their set. I am not religious, i don't believe in "god", and I don't want some rock "star" talking about the bible. I didn't pay to hear that, I paid to hear music. @lc061084 What John is talking about isn't just religion... Buddhism is religion, Taoism is religion, Believing in the Christ is Faith. And follow rules? nah they are guidelines on how to live. All that needs to be done is Believe in Christ, believe He died for your sins, and repent for your sins.. I wouldn't really call those rules...

YIKES. I think John needs to give his voice a rest...he's been getting hoarser and hoarser since the Comatose Tour...they still rock though :)
