Neither am I Sufi nor Salafi/Wahhabi. But it’s clear to me that the Salafis are greater fools then the Sufis. They are Mujassimah & kuffar in my estimation. Moreover they claim to follow the salaf but reject the only Tabi’ whose books are available to us: Abu Hanifa (RA). The only person they come with is the Mujassim & Mubtadi’ Ibn Taymiyyah, who had psychological problems and never travelled for knowledge nor did he ever marry, and died in prison after doing multiple Tawbas. He abandoned the prophets sunnah & denigrated the Sahaba including the Ahl up Bait... including Ali (AS) and Uthman (RA).

I used to be sufi without me knowing as there were o salafis then I went with the tabligis who are sufis then one day in the mosque while I was with the tabligis I saw a group in the masjid a young man was talking so I went and listened and found this man was giving hadith with sanad and giving hadith with proof not just mumble jumble and he was against extremists the more I listened the more enlightened I became not to abuse other religions but show them the mistakes in their religions so I became a salafi follower I threw al the cassettes of those takfiri ulama of the Muslim brotherhood who poisoned the mind's of our children and followed this middle ground religion they are against any sort of violence to respect our leaders and trust Allah they say not to associate anything with Allah is that hard all the prophets were sent to say that Allah is one and not to associate anything with Allah people start to brand them Wahhabis and everything else the Muslim brotherhood murder them so my brother in Sudan keep up the good work Allahu akbar

It is permisible for a blind man to be imam. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) appointed Ibn Umm Makhtum as a imam in Medina in the time of battles. This is recorded in Sunnan Abu Dawud and Tarikh Al-Tabari for exemple.

Most wahhabis always seem more knowledgeable than actıually they are... But generally they only know how to takfir people because of makruh, bida or at most haram things. Putting quran on ground is not haram if it is not because of disrespect. So, even Quran can be read on ground but it is better to elevate. If there is not any thing unpure being seem it is considered as pure. Those are not important... The important thing is your tekfeer habbit...
The reason for the public debate was the question of putting a religious book on the ground ? The first mistake was, that even if the Sufi was correct in his opinion, that its a kind of disrespect for the book, he still is wrong, because of his bad behaviour by refuting the Salafi publicly, and reducing his level in front of all people. He should speak to him face to face in a good manner. Secondly, the Sufi undermines all the positive of a person by showing the mistake of his brother in public, and also leading the people away from their islamic teacher. The next mistake was made by both, that they use knowledge for compete and refute each other, what is forbidden by the Prophet(saw), those who learn islamic knowledge for arguing other people will find its place in hell fire. Allah knows best, may Allah guide us the path of Prophet Muhammad(saw).

Did the first questioner introduced himself as a Sufi?? Both Sufis and salafis read the same books. It's only a matter of difference of understanding. The earth is considered pure and only in necessity. Because it will be disliked if you have water in abundance and decides to use earth instead, it will also be disliked if you have mat and decide to pray on earth whole. It will also be disliked to put the Quran on the earth when you have a table or a mat. In the absence of all these the earth is pure. So both the questioner and the speaker are right, the only wrong is that they refuse to reconcile their views in light of the Sharia. I also appreciate the clarity of the Arabic.

The salafi is just taking the Hadith out of context.. yes it does say the ground is pure for you to pray but there must be something in place because what if an animal has left it’s badness in such places or u have walked all over them places with dirty feet then you put the Quran on the floor on them places.. plus the book with Allah name on it is on the floor right and you above it walking everywhere doesn’t seem respectful to me either.. so there must be implications in place for this.. and just a side point that’s why we use a masula to pray on and not straight on the ground most the time..

The basic principle is that it is pure, this is something that we are sure of. You are saying “maybe” an animal left something, a principle of Fiqh is that doubt does not remove something that we are sure of, so what you are saying is incorrect.

Earth is pure for Sajdah and Tayamum but its common sense Aql that you dont place Allahs blessed name of floor, this is where salafi lack Adab and respect. Due to which they have no spirituality in their lives. Quoting Quran and Hadeeth doeant make you more pious, youre just more aware and thats all. Sad seeing a diversity between muslims like this. Both seem to have a nice knowledge of the deen, even the better one among the two is very intimidating and cursing making fun of each other while spreading the knowledge. Even if the other brother is wrong you have to teach him in the best way. It feels like i am watching a muslim vs our worst enemies talking. Allah swt even told us; the more you believe/practice deen/worship in Allah the more humble your supposed to get.
I find the salafi man here to be unnecessarily arrogant, harsh, rude and disrespectful. I think that the other man was right to show respect for the book with Allah's name by raising it above the ground. If the salafi finds this offensive or wrong then he is the one with the problem. Even if the other individual stated a lie against him (we are not given the full context here - they clearly don't like each other), to refer him as a "lying, deceitful *sufi*" rather than just as a liar is excessive and obviously intended to insult all sufis, and to do so is just sheer ignorance on the part of the salafi. Also the snide comment telling him to go and pray in the shrine was below the belt and a shine of poor character on the part of the salafi. Again the implication is that all sufis are mushrikeen - which again is just sheer ignorance on the part of the salafi.
While ground is pure, it's out of respect you don't put Allah's name on the ground, just like how he said to be quiet when Prophet Muhammad PBUH was being mentioned, speaking is not forbidden but he asked them to be quiet as display of respect.
If you say earth is pure and its okay to place Allahs name of floor, please prove it through an authentic hadeeth of Bukhari that the Sahaba or the Prophet would place Allahs name on the floor because the earth is pure? Salafis like the Yahood only show what they want and what adheres to their corrupt aqeedah. In reality respect for the Quran is proven in many Hadith. The sister of Caliph Umar (Rad) did not let him touch the Quran when he was not Muslim.

NO ! the area must be clean where you pray. Thats why you roll out a carpet and pray. The prophet (pbuh) meant it like the whole world is pure for us to pray, but you still need a clean surface to pray on (which ever part of the whole world Allah has given us) where ever you are.

I used to be sufi without me knowing as there were o salafis then I went with the tabligis who are sufis then one day in the mosque while I was with the tabligis I saw a group in the masjid a young man was talking so I went and listened and found this man was giving hadith with sanad and giving hadith with proof not just mumble jumble and he was against extremists the more I listened the more enlightened I became not to abuse other religions but show them the mistakes in their religions so I became a salafi follower I threw al the cassettes of those takfiri ulama of the Muslim brotherhood who poisoned the mind's of our children and followed this middle ground religion they are against any sort of violence to respect our leaders and trust Allah they say not to associate anything with Allah is that hard all the prophets were sent to say that Allah is one and not to associate anything with Allah people start to brand them Wahhabis and everything else the Muslim brotherhood murder them so my brother in Sudan keep up the good work Allahu akbar

It is permisible for a blind man to be imam. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) appointed Ibn Umm Makhtum as a imam in Medina in the time of battles. This is recorded in Sunnan Abu Dawud and Tarikh Al-Tabari for exemple.

The first mistake was, that even if the Sufi was correct in his opinion, that its a kind of disrespect for the book, he still is wrong, because of his bad behaviour by refuting the Salafi publicly, and reducing his level in front of all people. He should speak to him face to face in a good manner. Secondly, the Sufi undermines all the positive of a person by showing the mistake of his brother in public, and also leading the people away from their islamic teacher. The next mistake was made by both, that they use knowledge for compete and refute each other, what is forbidden by the Prophet(saw), those who learn islamic knowledge for arguing other people will find its place in hell fire. Allah knows best, may Allah guide us the path of Prophet Muhammad(saw).

The earth is considered pure and only in necessity. Because it will be disliked if you have water in abundance and decides to use earth instead, it will also be disliked if you have mat and decide to pray on earth whole. It will also be disliked to put the Quran on the earth when you have a table or a mat. In the absence of all these the earth is pure. The salafi is just taking the Hadith out of context.. yes it does say the ground is pure for you to pray but there must be something in place because what if an animal has left it’s badness in such places or u have walked all over them places with dirty feet then you put the Quran on the floor on them places.. plus the book with Allah name on it is on the floor right and you above it walking everywhere doesn’t seem respectful to me either.. so there must be implications in place for this.. and just a side point that’s why we use a masula to pray on and not straight on the ground most the time..

Earth is pure for Sajdah and Tayamum but its common sense Aql that you dont place Allahs blessed name of floor, this is where salafi lack Adab and respect. يعني عادي عندكم ان تضع القرآن الكريم إلى الأرض من غير عذر و والعياذ بالله ؟؟؟ يا هذا... انظر مثلا إنه معروف عن الإمام أبي حنيفة و عن غيره من السلف الصالحين أنه لم يمتد قدماه أي رجاله ممتدا تجاه القبلة و لا في بيته هنا قد نفهم أما و لا تجاه بيت شيخه حمادا بن سليمان رحمه الله فهل تعتبر هذا شركا او ابتداعا في الدين أن عظم أستاذه و أم يذكر أنه فعل ذلك تجاه والديه و كلنا نعلم مكانة بر الوالدين في الدين فكيف يفعل هذا في شيخه حمادا ... هل تظن ابا حنيفة اعتبر ذلك من التدين و التقرب إلى الله و ينال به المكرمة غير ما كان حصل له من مقامه الرفيع في الفقه و العلم و التقوى و الورع و لّا ابتدع عملا جديدا؟؟ و الله يقول "و من يعظم شعائر الله فإنها من تقوى القلوب" و أنتم تقولون أنه شرك بالله ... و كذا أحمد بن حنبل ما اكل لحما ٦ او ٧ سنوات لأنه سمع انا شاة سُرق في مدينته ... هو يراه أن يتجنب اللحم تقربا الى الله و تقوى و أنتم تقولون أنه شركا بالله او بدعة او تكلف ما أنزل بها من سلطان !!! من أعلم أين أنزل الله سلطان و أين رفعه أنتم يا اسطح ناس بل اجهلهم في الوجود.. و لا هؤلاء السلف الأجلّاء ... الذين اتقنتموه هو كيف تطبلون تصفقون و ترفعون اصواتكم لتكسب التأييد الشعبي الجهول لجهلكم إلا من رحمهم الله و استبصرهم الله برحمته و بنوره و بنور خاتم الأنبياء والمرسلين و ببركة "صالح المؤمنين" خاتم الأساتذة وراث المحمديين و الأولياء قدس الله سره العزيز!

Sad seeing a diversity between muslims like this. Both seem to have a nice knowledge of the deen, even the better one among the two is very intimidating and cursing making fun of each other while spreading the knowledge. Even if the other brother is wrong you have to teach him in the best way. It feels like i am watching a muslim vs our worst enemies talking. Allah swt even told us; the more you believe/practice deen/worship in Allah the more humble your supposed to get.

I find the salafi man here to be unnecessarily arrogant, harsh, rude and disrespectful. I think that the other man was right to show respect for the book with Allah's name by raising it above the ground. If the salafi finds this offensive or wrong then he is the one with the problem. Even if the other individual stated a lie against him (we are not given the full context here - they clearly don't like each other), to refer him as a "lying, deceitful *sufi*" rather than just as a liar is excessive and obviously intended to insult all sufis, and to do so is just sheer ignorance on the part of the salafi. Also the snide comment telling him to go and pray in the shrine was below the belt and a shine of poor character on the part of the salafi. Again the implication is that all sufis are mushrikeen - which again is just sheer ignorance on the part of the salafi.

While ground is pure, it's out of respect you don't put Allah's name on the ground, just like how he said to be quiet when Prophet Muhammad PBUH was being mentioned, speaking is not forbidden but he asked them to be quiet as display of respect.
If you say earth is pure and its okay to place Allahs name of floor, please prove it through an authentic hadeeth of Bukhari that the Sahaba or the Prophet would place Allahs name on the floor because the earth is pure?

Salafis like the Yahood only show what they want and what adheres to their corrupt aqeedah. In reality respect for the Quran is proven in many Hadith. The sister of Caliph Umar (Rad) did not let him touch the Quran when he was not Muslim.
