The Patriots schedule thing is so easy to debunk it's amazing idiots try to go with this excuse. You know in advance, even years ahead of time, 14 of your 16 games before the previous season is complete. You know your opponent, you know if it's a home or road game. The NFL schedule is created by rotating which two divisions you play (one in your conference and one in the other conference, and it will be in the opposite location of the previous time you played that whole division), 6 division games (1 home and 1 road against each division opponent). The only two games you don't know are the two games in conference where you play against one team from the two divisions remaining, and those are determined by where you finish in your division standings, and you play the team that placed the same as you in their divisions the previous season. I'm a Bills fan and even I know the only thing the Patriots get in terms of their schedule is more national TV and prime time games. But winning teams get more exposure.

Don’t they play the same garbage teams that ND has to face in their 5 game schedule but just more of them? And who did they put as their out of conference games? Texas A&M (their only quality game all year) Charlotte, and Wafford?!? So Notre Dame has to join an almighty power 5 conference because they have all the elite teams in them that Notre Dame never faces. Because being the top dog in a bad conference makes you look amazing, mostly playing FCS teams to pad the schedule and make you look even more amazing, and adding 1 quality out of conference game to prove your almighty status. Sounds like Notre Dame has a “favorites advantage” to me.
@@TheRayzerBandit I mean the acc is horrible. There are legitimately group of 5 conferences that could win a head to head in a conference line up. Just because a great team comes out of it doesn't make the conference good
At least Clemson plays in a conference Championship game. Notre Dame doesn't. How does a team go to playoffs without playing in a conference Championship game? Ridiculous
I have been AN EXTREMELY EXTREMELY EXTREMELY HUGE NOTRE DAME FAN since 1971 when I attended The 1971 Cotton Bowl in Dallas, TEXAS when THEY played against The University of TEXAS!! I got to meet the players, coaches, and staff..ALL of these people were VERY KIND AND BENEVOLENT to me, a little boy who went to the game with his Maternal Grandfather. I have so many Wonderful Memories of THE UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME!!!! I WILL ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS LOVE THE SCHOOL AND ITS FOOTBALL PROGRAM!!!!
Some good points, some not so good. Just food for thought, but you do realize that Notre Dame played Clemson closer than Bama did last year in the playoffs...
Damn that was salty....I mean, when you win 11 National Championships in your history and produce some pretty great pro NFL players (Montana, Bettis, Brown, Petitgout, Theisman, Bavaro, Golic, Casper, Buonicoti, Hornug), you earn that cred! Even though that's like Dallas Cowboys history, it's still there! And that's how a brand gets popular.......how about lambasting Dallas too then?
This is the second comment i have ever left. I will never watch your videos agian. I am sharing this with college football fans. I would stick to other sports bud. The most hated FBS team is Alabama followed by Texas, Miami and then Notre Dame. Everything you just shared is opinion and had absolutely no fact to it at all.
As a resident of Mishawaka, (The city next to South Bend) I can confirm that almost EVERYONE thinks Notre Dame is a powerhouse. They always tell me, “Bro, Notre Dame is going to be so good this year”... it’s annoying, really...
How is Norte dame called a fraud when they are tied for the most national championships. They also are tied for second for the most hisman trophy winners. I hate when people make such large claims but don’t do any research.
The last time Notre Dame had a strength of schedule less than FBS average was 1923. It plays a Power 5 schedule literally every year. The reason they are included in a Bowl Game for a top 8 finish is because if not, they would never get a Bowl Game because the CFP FAVORS teams in Power 5 conferences. Notre Dame football does not join the ACC because they make 5 times more money for football than any other sport combined, and make more money than 95% of college teams. If they join the ACC, all that money gets spread around the entire conference, which actually isn't fair for Notre Dame at all. Plus, they have like a million rivalries that play every year because of tradition, and if you start complaining about tradition, you need to stop watching sports. Call me a salty fan, whatever, but this video just sounds like a salty USC fan mad they lost to Ian Book lmao
PIZZZATISZA not just Bama. It’s all of the ACC and SEC. They need to play 9 conference games. Every conference should be set up like the big 12. It’s ridiculous Alabama is able to schedule an FCS team in November right before their big game at auburn. Basically a bye week. And Alabama has a bye week before LSU. Their schedule is always setup just so perfectly lol
They have to go undefeted to make the playoffs or 11-1 and the chances for 11-1 is so slim it seems impossible because if a team plays a conference championship and there 11-1 and they win improving 12-1 they will edge them out because they have more wins the only way they could go 11-1 and make the playoffs is if everyone under the 4 seed had 2 or more losses before the conference championship
Which is why joining the geographically convienient Big Ten was out of the question. And losing to Northwestern in the 90's, as my brother would say (he's an alum).
Notre Dame plays a weak schedule🤔 I can’t think of the last time they played a D1AA school. And I can’t think of the last time______ (insert your favorite P5 team) didn’t have at least 1 D1AA school on their schedule. Hell most teams schedule 2 FCS schools
As a Penn State fan id love to see notre dame join the big ten east... they wouldn’t have a chance playing Michigan, Michigan state, Penn State, and Ohio state all together every year
5 ACC games Michigan State Michigan USC Stanford BYU A military school That’s not a bad schedule considering they are normally MSU Michigan Stanford and USC and a couple ACC teams are ranked. That just leaves a military school and having to stop the triple option every year... pretty poor point.
First off to say that we allow people to be less than spectacular academically just the benefit on the field is false. 2012 Everett golson took us to the national championship game the following year he was caught cheating and we kicked him out at school..
So, lemme get this straight. You, and thousands of others are upset with Notre Dame not being in a conference, because of all the money they get? You mean the same money they put towards great academics to help with discovering new medicines, transporting students and staff across the glob to study/help other places, to buy food/water/ other necessary supplies for third world countries. Notre Dame loves it football program, yes, but they love it because of the money it brings in. It helps greatly with their academics because we all know, the money is in sports. Players in pro sports make millions, while the person who wins the Nobel Peace Prize doesn't even make close to the poorest nfl contract. They use their football team for money for the academics, not because they feel special. That's why they care, and that's why Notre Dame is one of the top schools that help around the world. Instead of looking at the negative, look at the whole truth, and not just the truth you wanna see. Thank you, and God bless.
I don't care about money. They should be paid whatever people ar willing to pay. Get thhat money. I just hate the fact that they have their own rules. It's stupid.
1. Alabama was the defending National Champion and had won it 2 years prior. By comparison Notre Dame hasn't done jack recently. 8 straight losses in major bowl games. 2. If Notre Dame was in the ACC they would have played Clemson in the ACC championship, got pounded and that would have allowed a more deserving team to get that final playoff spot.
@@Bormannator 3. Bama had a tougher schedule all year and their players were likely fatigued after the long season so they were not a full health in that championship game
Love Notre Dame always have and always will! I live in God's country they say, I rock my gold and blue, Middle finger in the air, for all the haters too! "SEC is the hardest conference my friends keep saying. I tell them "SEC" west is, not east. East only has Gators and Dawgs, The rest of the teams suck. They always talk about when was the last time Notre Dame won a National? I say to all those haters when y'all have as many National Titles as we do, then come talk to me.
So notre dame constantly faces top 10 teams every year but we just gonna ignore how weak conference our when those teams maybe have 2 to 3 big games a year to make the playoffs
Why oh Why does Norte Dame continue to get this preferential treatment as all teams have similar traditions? In the last 26 years Norte Dame has basically done nothing versus another program that barely gets discussed like a Wisconsin? Since 1993...... Records: Notre Dame: 188-116--1 Wisconsin: 240-96-4 Major bowl appearances: Notre Dame: 8 (1 victory) Wisconsin: 11 (7 victories) Why would any recruit or tv network hop on this Notre Dame PR scheme, time for the NCAA to wake up and quit with the specific rules for them?
The narrator must be a Miami fan who still has not gotten over the game in 88. His whining tone through the video ruined the video. Notre Dame IS college football..... win or loose. So get over it mr announcer!
This video is pretty irrelevant to post this season since their schedule is rated as the hardest of any other team plus they aren't in a conference because they don't need to be, there is just no purpose.
As a Notre Dame fan. I do like being independent just to do the traditional rivalries we have. I love seeing us vs Stanford, Navy and USC. However, I would love that one day, they will play in the Big Ten. It just make more sense for me and wish the league let them in back in 1998
I have never liked ND because going back to the Parseghian era they would run up the score and not give their second string a chance to play. I once had a co-worker who was a die hard ND fan and he was an arrogant jerk. Then there are Notre Dame boys high schools throughout the USA. The one in my neck of the woods is in Sherman Oaks, California. As a teenager back in the 1970s I used to ride my bike past the school every day and those nice Catholic boys used to flip me off and taunt me from the bus. Also I don't think one university or the Vatican should get an exclusive TV contract with a major network. I am a UCLA fan and the only time I pull for hated Southern Cal is when they face the Irish every year.
Alabama nor any of the power southern schools play a tough schedule and if they do play a tough non conference team it is always at home or “neutral “ site. That “neutral “ site is always in the south usually atlanta where they have home field advantage
Notre Dame not being in a conference is both a blessing and a curse. If Notre Dame has 1 loss, they do not have a conference championship game to play in to get themselves back into contention.
When notre dame people act like this person flipped off the entire college and called them spoiled when all he did was point out that there was some unfairness, not insult them XDXD
Lol have you seen Clemson's schedule lol defending national champions dont have one ranked team their schedule they will still make the play offs though
Your points made decent sense until your simply started to spew hate on the fans of the franchise, then it was clear you blindly despise Notre dame without having an actual clue as to why you dislike the fans
It’s absolutely amazing how people continuously say Notre dame plays nobody. Take 3 minutes and look up another schedule and compare them. Then shut the fuck up about it
Notre dame being hated for being independent is the only actual fact lmao but it’s all business moves so how can you hate a team who’s done nothing but make big business moves and keep a solid reputation and tradition for years
The funny thing is the reason Notre Dame is still independent is because of the nbc deal and all the money they would lose if they join a conference and lose that deal
As a purdue fan and alum, Notre dame should be my rival. My dad went there and I remember going to games at south bend with my dad. With that in mind, If you really hate Notre dame because there not in a conference then quit crying and stop stomping on a team and pay attention to your own team that would get killed by Notre dame. #boilersstandbyirish

@@zachswintz2537 okay really... number #1 SOS please tell me its a joke and you arent that dumb? LSU has already played and beaten 3 top 10 teams.... so how is ND ahead of them and by what asinine parameters is that judged?

Sorry, I just need to wipe off my computer screen from doing a spit take and laughing before I explain how wrong you are.
Well now we know this channel just hates Notre Dame...
Notre dame had 23 people I. The nfl in the last 3-4 years
Still a proud Fighting Irish fan
Typical ND fan...
Me too
@@Skyldawg what's that supposed to mean?
same. it's the connecting point for my family. every weekend, it's what we're doing together as a family
It sounds like the issue is more with conferences being terrible.
THE CONFEDERACY WAS THE ORIGINAL SHITHOLE COUNTRY If the ACC is garbage then how come Clemson gets into the playoffs?
Just because a great team comes out of it doesn't make the conference good
Yet when Clemson is playing scrub teams all but 2 weeks, no one bats a eye
Because Clemson has made the championship game 4 times in recent years and play well in all of them and won half.
I'm a alabama fan and I dont like are easy scedule no matter if we have cough cough 17 national championships or not
Same goes to everyone else and y'all don't even play in a confrence
Connor King yeah bama has the just about the best schedule possible. FCS opponent in November right before auburn and a bye week right before LSU
Great point. Notre Dame did better than Bama but people live to hate Norte Dame
Those Natty titles were in the leather helmet days. Times have changed. Join a conference and ND will get some respect
@@alwaysup34 no reason to join a conference, takes away from our rivalries and we're just fine having a top 15 SoS every year and going undefeated
@@zachswintz2537 If you want to win a national championship Nortre dame needs to join a conference
@@alwaysup34 Why? They've won 11 without ever being in a conference, why do they all of a sudden need to join one? Just to please you?
Zach Swintz Nd has many other unclaimed National titles as well and can have some legit arrugments for some of them to be officially claimed.
Top 15 strength of schedule every year but yeah "cupcakes"
We all know the only reason why they want to be independent is because they can’t win in a actual division
As a resident of Mishawaka, (The city next to South Bend) I can confirm that almost EVERYONE thinks Notre Dame is a powerhouse. They always tell me, “Bro, Notre Dame is going to be so good this year”... it’s annoying, really...
They making predictions (I live about 26 miles from South Bend)
Definitely not a step ahead on the recruiting trail their academic standards are much harder then most other big schools
Alabama gets special treatment from officials as well. Least penalized team.
At least we ain’t like Bama and play small schools and pay them 1 million dollars
Everyone does that. Stop living on Joel Klatt's false narrative.
Lmao you guys literally payed South Florida $450,000 to play you guys this year.
Best nfl player from each of 50 states
They have to go undefeted to make the playoffs or 11-1 and the chances for 11-1 is so slim it seems impossible because if a team plays a conference championship and there 11-1 and they win improving 12-1 they will edge them out because they have more wins the only way they could go 11-1 and make the playoffs is if everyone under the 4 seed had 2 or more losses before the conference championship
That thumbnail can describe the Dolphins year
Tragic
Could be worse. They could be the Redskins.
@@Bormannator Could be BOTH
Pretty easy to win when you're not apart of a conference.
Which is why joining the geographically convienient Big Ten was out of the question. And losing to Northwestern in the 90's, as my brother would say (he's an alum).
Notre dame plays stanford and usc every year and thid year they playing georgia and michigan too. Not an easy schedule.
The Underground they always have a tougher schedule than Alabama and other top teams that are in conferences
And who has Clemson played?
Notre Dame plays a weak schedule🤔 I can’t think of the last time they played a D1AA school. And I can’t think of the last time______ (insert your favorite P5 team) didn’t have at least 1 D1AA school on their schedule. Hell most teams schedule 2 FCS schools
As a Penn State fan id love to see notre dame join the big ten east... they wouldn’t have a chance playing Michigan, Michigan state, Penn State, and Ohio state all together every year
5 ACC games
Michigan State
Michigan
USC
Stanford
BYU
A military school
That’s not a bad schedule considering they are normally MSU Michigan Stanford and USC and a couple ACC teams are ranked. That just leaves a military school and having to stop the triple option every year... pretty poor point.
First off to say that we allow people to be less than spectacular academically just the benefit on the field is false. 2012 Everett golson took us to the national championship game the following year he was caught cheating and we kicked him out at school..
I officially have unsubbed from this channel, I thought this channel was supposed not bias, but obviously this a bias video against ND.
Hey, I go to Notre Dame to help with their nuclear energy program!!! (I live in Mishawaka, next to South Bend).
A stronger argument is that ND would make about $7 million a year extra if they joined the ACC in football. But you know, it's all about money...
I don't care about money. They should be paid whatever people ar willing to pay. Get thhat money. I just hate the fact that they have their own rules. It's stupid.
This Video Was Made By A USC FAN 💀
The Bean Boiz yes it all makes sense
Do a more in-depth video on the game between Notre Dame vs Miami in 1988.
Ohio State gets more special treatment
They get cupcake schedules every year
It’s cause were in a horrible conference but we can’t really control it the only good teams in big ten are Michigan Michigan state and Wisconsin
Littyboi Litfam Penn State?
This title is a complete lie
Yes because Alabama did so much better than Notre Dame against Clemson last year. No they didn't.
Yes, I've been saying that
Bormannator they still lost to Clemson by more than Notre dame idd
Did
@@Bormannator 3.
I say to all those haters when y'all have as many National Titles as we do, then come talk to me.
they hate us because they aint us #TouchdownJesus
So notre dame constantly faces top 10 teams every year but we just gonna ignore how weak conference our when those teams maybe have 2 to 3 big games a year to make the playoffs
John O'Henry agreed
Notre dame is my favorite team
Why oh Why does Norte Dame continue to get this preferential treatment as all teams have similar traditions? In the last 26 years Norte Dame has basically done nothing versus another program that barely gets discussed like a Wisconsin? Since 1993......
Records:
Notre Dame: 188-116--1
Wisconsin: 240-96-4
Major bowl appearances:
Notre Dame: 8 (1 victory)
Wisconsin: 11 (7 victories)
Why would any recruit or tv network hop on this Notre Dame PR scheme, time for the NCAA to wake up and quit with the specific rules for them?
And notredame had the number 6th hardest schedule last year
The narrator must be a Miami fan who still has not gotten over the game in 88. His whining tone through the video ruined the video. Notre Dame IS college football..... win or loose. So get over it mr announcer!
Robert Timmerman yeah or he is a USC fan because he spoke so highly of them.
This is so dumb I’m a usc fan and notre dame does not get special treatment I’m being honest

I would say the list starts with:
1.) Your Mom
2.) Michigan
3.) Your sister
4.) Friends
5.) Tom Brady
This video is pretty irrelevant to post this season since their schedule is rated as the hardest of any other team plus they aren't in a conference because they don't need to be, there is just no purpose.
Daryl Lopez yeah lol
As a Notre Dame fan. I do like being independent just to do the traditional rivalries we have. I love seeing us vs Stanford, Navy and USC. However, I would love that one day, they will play in the Big Ten. It just make more sense for me and wish the league let them in back in 1998
In Chicago where I live, most of its population goes for Notre Dame according to research that was done on college football fanbases
"They may slip some guys through that dont live up to the academic standars" all colleges do this and thier standards ar much lower overall
Find one....
That is a fair and balanced video on of the most accurate videos I've ever seen. Great Job oustanding masterpiece.
I am a fan of Notre dame and who said everybody hates Norte dame
Peingy how u a nd fan and you can even spell notre dame
Peingy I know right go irish
Matt From wii sports there was a spelling checker
That 1988 Irish team is the Greatest ND team of all time..
Central District they had a near dynasty in the late 80s and early 90s with Holtz and almost won it again in 1989 and 1993.
Alabama nor any of the power southern schools play a tough schedule and if they do play a tough non conference team it is always at home or “neutral “ site. That “neutral “ site is always in the south usually atlanta where they have home field advantage
Top ten times y’all butcher athletes names lol
If Notre Dame ever mans up and joins a conference for football, the Big 12 would be the most obvious choice. Because of location, location, location!
What? That's the B1G
And Alabama got blown out worst to the tigers

Notre Dame not being in a conference is both a blessing and a curse. If Notre Dame has 1 loss, they do not have a conference championship game to play in to get themselves back into contention.
This is crazy Notre Dame is amazing!!!
When did they last win a major bowl game?
Bormannator well I think we all now that you don’t watch college football now
Yessssir
When notre dame people act like this person flipped off the entire college and called them spoiled when all he did was point out that there was some unfairness, not insult them XDXD
Lol have you seen Clemson's schedule lol defending national champions dont have one ranked team their schedule they will still make the play offs though
So now 12-0 teams making the playoffs is unfair
You’re just mad because Notre Dame has a better history Then your team
When you tout out your history first you know you've already lost the argument.
Your points made decent sense until your simply started to spew hate on the fans of the franchise, then it was clear you blindly despise Notre dame without having an actual clue as to why you dislike the fans
TPS be like: Notre Dame has it easy such as Georgia and Michigan
Whats the beat you guys use during the outro of the video??
As a Notre Dame fan from SB this video makes me angry. Even though everything said is true. Sigh.
True? ND doesn't have an unfair advantage
true? first, why is everybody in the title?
Some of the points were valid, but to critique Notre Dames academic standards is ridiculous.

It’s absolutely amazing how people continuously say Notre dame plays nobody. Take 3 minutes and look up another schedule and compare them. Then shut the fuck up about it
With the amonut of butthurt shown in this video i've come to the conclusion that this was done by a Trojans or Wolverines fan.
Why should any team in any sport have its own set of special rules?

Notre dame being hated for being independent is the only actual fact lmao but it’s all business moves so how can you hate a team who’s done nothing but make big business moves and keep a solid reputation and tradition for years
I grew up in Northwest Indiana, and you just crapped on my team.
@cameron millard ?
The funny thing is the reason Notre Dame is still independent is because of the nbc deal and all the money they would lose if they join a conference and lose that deal
Didn’t bama get trounced by Clemson too?
So what dumbass, Alabama plays in a tougher schedule than Notre Dame. 2. Alabama has won multiple national championships over the last 10 years.
