The rudeness and blatant insults from the "elders" is too much. I understand respect your elders but it's too much. Further, I get being "filial" is part of the culture and more importantly part of law but---sometimes the smacking or physical abuse that the elder heap on the daughter-in--laws is too awful
I can't with how stupid they made the characters in this one. Only 15 minutes in and the coworker bad girls flip-flopped 3 times already and believed the stupidest explanation from the main bad girl immediately. Like all the evidence you JUST saw means nothing if the person you just caught lying to you lies to you again then she is obviously telling the truth this time? Normally the over the top idiocy of some of the characters is entertaining, in this one it's just too much already
I find some of these almost unwatchable,either from a bad (and seen a thousand times) script, such as Yes she is, no she is not, almost like watching a Christmas Panto (if you live in the UK), to extremely poor acting, normally I would try to watch till the end as I am trying to learn Mandarin language as I can read Chinese, but when there is only English sub, it is pointless, because a lot of the deep meanings are lost through translation so one can't totally relate.
Have a few opinions on this film: 1 - The Aunty didn't ask Nanyi any questions, she refused her right away, and then she disrespected the mother because she assumed Nanyi came from a Poor background, then that's how they are.... 2 - The ex-girlfriend proved she lied, she couldn't help, so Nanyi helped, and the Aunty still refused her. 3 - The Aunty should have been kicked out of their life, Nanyi's husband built the company from the ground up, wasn't even worth 10 million, it was still starting up, yet the Aunty compared him to the higher ranks. 😂🤣 Pfft - He's only just upgraded from a Dingy to a Boat.... 😅
Be warned that there's no real ending to this, or at best the ending is rushed to death with the usual "oh you're the richest man's daughter? I was so wrong about you!" - only in this case there is a twist as it's not the hubby who says it but his aunt. I don't know if she really repented and learnt her lesson or not, but I hope she did so that the FL/ML can move on and start their married life on a fresh step. For that matter he's definitely not a perfect husband as he's on the fence about her and doesn't at all believe she's capable of doing much, but at least he's got enough self-respect and awareness not to fall for the tricks of the green tea. I think the best part was at the end when surprisingly he even tells the richest man face-to-face (he's being "tested" by her ba) that he really does love his wife and would fight her father if he forced him to to marry his daughter even if it cost him his business (which passes her ba's final test of trust of course) which I found very refreshing. Overall if you have the time it's an ok show despite the lack of a real ending, but IMO if you don't have the time to kill then give it a pass-over as there's so many better shows with 10x better endings and similar plots out there to pick from. My score: 6/9 (I don't give 10s to mini-dramas).

It's typical of Chinese parents. They're greedy. You can encounter creatures like that if you visit china. Many are social climbers. It's in their culture because of Confucianism. It's also typical in Korean and Japanese societies.
Can't believe I actually finished it. There's basically 2 stories in this and they are inconsistant. Should have been flipped around for it to make somewhat more sense. First half her husband is basically the richest in town and they can spend billions at any time and it seems they have been married for some time. 2nd half it is like they just got married and a 20 million law suit is going to bankrupt him. Oh then it just so happens that she is the rich one and hiding it from him. If they were flipped it definitely would have flowed better, but not really been a better show

Okay, this is stupid. Normally, I find these dramas at least amusing enough to watch, but the writers lost their minds with this one. I can accept a driver allowing his daughter to steal and covering for her. His grabbing a pair of scissors and threatening his boss in a room filled with people, is a different matter. It makes no sense for him to do that. He was motivated by love for his daughter, but his actions would have hurt her. From what I know of Asian culture his crime would have come back on her. She would have been treated even worse because she would have been judged by his actions. He would have known this, and even desperation wouldn't have changed that. So yes, they lost their minds.
