He has it plugged into the Effects Return. In other words straight into the power amp, which is typically the better way to use these sorts of multi's.
Congratulations .... a question, once installed the AMPLIFI remote application on the device to be connected via Bluetooth to the pedal board, to choose the different types of sound and change them you must always be connected to a wi fi - 4g data network or you can use the application even without connection? Thank you
I must say that I have been very intrigued with this board. My only drawback is not knowing exactly which stomp or effect it is. I know I can tell based on the color that it's Mod, Delay, Reverb, just like the M13 but when you push the switch the display only shows Stomp on here. I wish It would display exactly what it is, like HD Screamer for example. I guess just make sure you have the app open on phone or tablet.
So could i buy a cheap android table and hook it up to it and not have to connect to the internet or update the app or worry about old software going out of date? It could live with the rig?
Bojan Stojkovic believe it or not, that's how most people play multifx units. The only problem is that not all amps sound great with multifx plugged into the front of it. Good think I have an ac30
I SOO agree.. tried this in store last week with headphones for an hour having show up intending to buy it.. left the shop without it so there's your answer.
I don't own one but from the reviews it supports the 4 cable method. Which means you can put the amp and it in the loop and can fully utilize your amp's distortion section. Just like the M13 (which I own) 4 cable method is great for tube amps. Digitech RP1000 does that as well and I don't own one.
a well builtt unit, but seems hard to control, when you switch sounds, it seems to lag a bit behind with the previous sound, plus i find alot of the sounds are very similar, and some sounds are too weird to even use, and can't use, don't evewn know what they are suppose to be. to me its trying to be all things to all people and its disappointing
you are absolutely right, I don't think it's suitable for live performance, as it happens to hang rather often, even on original sounds on the first bank, switched two-three times between 2 sounds, and it hangs with two red lights on, happened to me right now, under version 1.20. Reboot in the middle of the song, before the audience, and explain them its a line6 product. Watch how cleverly this review avoids switching while playing, another fake review which is nothing else but publicity. Fairly enough, there is version 1.30, which I have just installed, and which claims to have fixed switches and hang ups
And I must say that 1.30 doesn't solve the problem at all. I reset the unit, as recommended, and with only 3 toneS loaded from cloud ( Acoustic Seagull, Acoustic Sim, Hotei solo ), the unit hangs again, twice after several hours I admit, but if one of these tones is corrupt, why is it still usable ? This situation is unacceptable, and the line 6 logo has become a red flag, for me.
I have the FH FX for years now, and I was never satisfied with the sound, I could never get out the clear sounds influencers do here on YT. Mine lack clarity and sound nasal, even though I play them right to the same speakers as the YT. I blamed the pickups or strings of my guitars, but I do get better sounds out of my PC using the Line6 App. What is the difference? I have a sound enhancer on my PC, FX Sound with an equalizer. I do not have any sound enhancer attached to the output of the Firehawk FX, so I must come to the conclusion that the sound is really dull as it comes. When I turn FX Sound off on my PC, the sounds still sound a little better. And that you guys know it and modify the sound with an equalizer or sound mixer when recording to make it sound so great. But I feel cheated...
Why does Line 6 create so many new multiproccesors lately? They sound exactly the same, nothing new... I got POD HD 500X and it's great but I hear the same sounds from this Firehawk.. Few months ago they relased Helix. Same sounds, different box.
That's just their thing. They do modelling boxes so they try to push out different ones that suit the needs of different people. The Helix is its own thing, it's running different modelling technology than the others, but yeah you're right about the others, stuff like the Firehawk/POD/Amplifi/etc all use the same modelling and sound the same. They just come in different packages for different types of people. Stuff like the Firehawk has all the bluetooth and mobile integration for people who go for that gimmick. Easier to tweek and not as in depth for those who just want sounds and don't want to screw around too much. Stuff like the POD HD500x has more tweakability and versatility for those who like building patches and stuff. I can see where Line 6 is coming from, but it can be confusing for consumers.
AdamGuitar87 I will say I've noticed a lot more connection options, and the helix has a better processor. the presets most likely won't change, but the quality of processor should, such as the Helix LT has (I'm pretty sure) 2 processors to help clean up its function
I cant download the app as its too old for my new Android phone. This unit is a toy for kids to play with. No way would you take this to gigs. Very top end sounds like crap. Like all line 6 gear you will be laughed at if you take it out on the rd.
@3:52 what is he saying about the connectivity to amp? To the effects loop of top?
He has it plugged into the Effects Return. In other words straight into the power amp, which is typically the better way to use these sorts of multi's.
A great solution for a little rig!

could i use the exp pedal as a whammy

it has rhythm patterns ?
What app is that in your phone
So could i buy a cheap android table and hook it up to it and not have to connect to the internet or update the app or worry about old software going out of date? It could live with the rig?
Yup, I'm doing this since I bought this pedalboard in september
Can you plug your mic into it?
I could never understand why would people demo an amp modelling unit by plugging it into an amp, makes no sense to me. Thanks for the review anyway.
Bojan Stojkovic believe it or not, that's how most people play multifx units. The only problem is that not all amps sound great with multifx plugged into the front of it. Good think I have an ac30
beanbot12 it's not a multi-effect, it's an amp an cab modeler with multi fx, designed to sound best through a pa-system, an all-in-one solution
Martijn van den Akker. I have a question, would this modeler sound just as good with a solid state amplifier? I'll appreciate your answer.
I SOO agree.. tried this in store last week with headphones for an hour having show up intending to buy it.. left the shop without it so there's your answer.
can I use these effects threw a tube amp instead of having to buy so many pedals?

Digitech RP1000 sounds so bad in a FX loop. I have tested it to death. It never sounds good.
The most cheesy 80s guitar ever - love it
For firehawk there is no desktop app as of now. It can only be controlled by a mobile device or a tablet.
Android emulator at PC?

Здравствуйте! Как его сравнить с boss gt 100?

Because of $$$$

Because the Helix sound quality was a FAIL. So maybe they tried to fix it with this.
MadMax The quality in helix is not bad... at least after the updates

why not just press the buttons with your left hand instead of reaching over
show
