School is tough, writing didn’t really come to me until a year into middle school, before that I just made all my stuff adhere to a format that normally would get me a good grade (b or a, depending on the content of the essay) Now I can just sit down and get into a flow, writing an essay for me is just bouncing ideas around until a few of them fit together and seeing what can fill it up and make it look good. May not be the best essay in the world, may only get a low b, but normally it’s good enough for me.

I am going to homeschool now because over the lockdown, I have noticed that education is possible without all of the stress that school brings. It also means that I won't have to wake up so early to get the bus, I will have more time for my UA-cam channels and other things that I just couldn't fit in with going to school.

At my high school in Illinois, our district decided on a hybrid system. So Monday and Tuesday we are doing half days in school (starts at 7:30 AM ends at 12:30 PM). Wednesday through Friday is E-Learning (or homeschool) and that starts from the same times as in school. Obviously, while I am at school I will be wearing masks (i have many masks) and maintaining social distancing. It will definitely be disappointing that I won’t have a Sophomore year homecoming dance but again, we are in a pandemic and we have to stay safe. Hope everyone stays safe and healthy! 😁
