  • Double wedge airfoils, also known as diamond wedge airfoils, are one of the most common supersonic airfoil types. What are their aerodynamics? How do you calculate the lift and drag of the airfoil?

Really amazing video, thank you !
It's really accessible and straight to the point, while not leaving away key elements, I don't understand how it can have so few views

Wait so if lift is just a function of (P1 - P3)E, then does the wing just get pulled forward? I am adding those vectors in my head and it looks like it just points forwards.
Also, your channel is MASSIVELY underrated. I am sharing with as many people as I can. Keep up the good work; this is all so cool!!!

When you decompose the pressure into the lift and drag directions, you then add the lift directions up. Perhaps I drew it wrong, sorry, but jut imagine that pressure can only act perpendicular to a surface, so to find the lift component, you need to decompose it into the lift direction.
      Thank you so much!

yo yo, i saw your videos on the el dorado and the stang! i was wondering if you'd be interested in doing on on a datsun 240z? they look to be really aerodynamic cars but i've heard some conflicting viewpoints. might be interesting.
    happy trails :]

Sure, we'll see if we can find a model of it, and if we can, then we will do a simulation of it.
