They were doing way too much in the boat, that distracted the driver of the boat to steer it properly. No one was concentrating and ignoring safety issues. Only the driver is a good swimmer because they live and trade on this river. He can survive.
Again blame it on the negligence of the passengers and the driver that should make sure safety measures were observed. Plus life jackets 🛟
