I know this was you ARCH ENEMY...but, AMAZING JOB!!!
😂😂😂
Good one
Ha, I see what you did there!
So Dan says he doesn’t like arch brickwork ……he needs to build a bridge and get over it 🥴🍻
Have a good rest guys, you deserve it. So much good work done. Incredible. 😀 And see you tomorrow too.
Putting on the roofs and installing the floors has been wonderful but now you are rebuilding. You are restoring. You’re giving this grand old lady her beautiful face back. I can’t wait to see this!
Wonderfully put!
The charm of this Gothic chateau lies in all the little architectural details, such as the elaborate roof windows and the extraordinary turret roof. I hope these will all be reconstructed as the original photographs. The new roof looks very bare without its windows
These videos are so full of daily joy. History, scary heights, tools, skill , dogs, noggins, flowers, friendships and of course the way Dan talks to us. A honest hard working happy-go-lucky guy. So enjoying the drone shots! Thank you for your time and take your time.
Its' the things we don't like doing the most, that make us the happiest when we do them! Well done Dan! x
Bless
True words! ✌🏼
Yep, painting my garage ceiling right now. I will be so happy when it gets done!
Good point!
You know That’s Right!
I'm glad to see you've conquered your _arch nemesis._ 😁
😂
Arch nemesis..😂 good one
This makes me think that this expression probably comes from Roman times, when arches were all the rage. Lol
Boom! Boom! 🦊
Best one in the comments today 🤩
You undersell yourself DAN. Typical if slightly old fashioned self effacing Brit - and none the worse for that. I think you’re doing an OUTSTANDING job. 👍👍👍
I am surprised that you don't enjoy the bricking of the arches. They are so beautiful when completed. The after-shot that you took reminds me of the aqueducts of Rome! You do them so beautifully and they add a wonderful touch to the overall architecture.
Dan, when you do the bricks it looks like you do art. You do this job very easy, attractive.
I never cease to be amazed at how you keep going despite the weather conditions Dan, and each little step brings you closer to the fulfilment of your dream. You and your crew do very well, I have great admiration for you and what you are doing.👏👏👏👏❤️❤️❤️🇦🇺
I’m so so glad I found your daily blogs. In a world gone crazy, your videos everyday are just a joy. Thank you for restoring the chateaux and telling us about the history of the place. It’s beautiful. I’m here for the long haul & I can’t stop telling people about it!
Let me see if I got this right: taking on a total reck of a chateau with toilets hanging 3 floors above from a single pipe- no sweat; during a winter storm putting on a roof hanging from a rope- chill; BUT, laying a brink arch- STRESS! Actually, I'm glad that SOMETHING troubles you Dan! ; )
I like watching the beautiful masonry work Dan does. Especially the arches
What a wonderful life the dogs have. Great environment to be a dog in.
The arch looks great! ❤😊
Absolutely love watching the arches being built!!!
I agree! It adds elegance.
Love the fun scene looking out of the bucket at the beautiful views!
That's the most beautifulest arch I've ever seen, except for the one before this and the 1 before that.Oh well hell all of them!
Fabulous arch!! 😊
Dan. Your progress and levels of skills on the build and behind the camera is remarkable. Its all very exciting and great to watch and follow so closely.
I’m reminded of Dan building the brick arch in the kitchen of the boy’s home. He may worry it but he gets better each time.
Go Pro in the cement bucket being winched up - pretty cool shot Daniel!
Hilarious camera placement in the winched bucket of lime. Every viewer saw a bucket’s eye view through the ARCHED window!! 🤣
Dan, you are such an inspiration. Always so positive.... even if we see lots of work still to be done, you will visualize the end picture !!! That is the way to go!! Well done! Can't wait for the next video 😊😊
Lovely brick work Dan. ❤
There's no question that you guys work your asses off and the attention to detail and craftsmanship is impressive, but the fact that you still take so much time to get cool camera shots and put in the effort in the editing room to make a great video just about every day blows me away! Keep up the great work! This is the only channel for which I actually use the notify option!
I always give a thumbs up when I see the dogs.
You might be reluctant, but the masonry episodes are by far my favorites
Hi, cuz,Hal. Just wanted to say hello 👋 from Sacramento, California USA 🇺🇸 peace ✌ out my friend
But what about the noggins!? Second at least?
@@joycelynnelobert8779 I like noggins too, 😂 lol
Me too. Remember the work in the basement.
Same !!
That arch looks AMAZING !
Lovely arch, Dan.
Great job well done another one of the list 👍🤗
Love Sue ❤❤❤🇬🇧❤❤❤
Hope you know how cheery your “good mornings” are Dan Daily ☺️
Right, it makes my day, 😂 lol
This remains amazing to watch. I just shudder when I think of everything to come... roofs, plumbing, electrics, heating, windows, plastering, lighting, woodwork, painting! At least I know I have a ready set of videos to watch for the next few years.
Dan, although you don't exactly enjoy bricklaying, you do a good job of it. Take some time to see what you've done and allow yourself a moment of admiration for your various accomplishments. ❤❤
Pushing ourselves out of our comfort zone is the best way to grow. And you have come such a long way from your first video well done
Great progress. I think the arch looks good and you have done excellent work on it. Having the gravel spread at the car park looks good too. ❤
Well done Dan.
Keeping your vision and can-do attitude -even in the rain. That keeps us tagging along enjoying every small victory.
Anyone who has tackled ANY kind of "building" project, can only be astounded and appreciative of what Dan and his friends , (they are his friends, not just helpers , in my eyes) have achieved. And Dan never seems to really lose heart. He just keeps on keeping on, literally one brick at a time. It IS sort of inspirational.
Just finally being able to watch a bunch of people get something done, instead of argue, argue, argue... just to make a point. And be "right"
The arch is looking pretty darn nice..
I feel like we have journeyed back to your humble beginnings of brick work and I couldn’t be happier. ❤
Lovely looking arch! well done Dan!
The Arch and all of the other brick work looks great,
Jeff❤
Looking good! You’re doing an excellent job!
I want to see the puppies!
Me too!
Me 3
me 4 😍
Just another brick in the wall … with more to come. We know you can do it all!
Pink Floyd
Arch looks amazing Dan. It would take me forever to do that.
House and driveway look great.
The hard work is definitely paying off.
💕Step by step up you go fingers crossed you can get everything done & the roofing finished before winter comes💕
Arch looks brilliant.
Every day is a step further to your beautiful chateau I am glued to every move you make.Dan and team.roll on tomorrow.
Great job 👍
that bucket-shot... superb
Hey Dan, loving the new arch!!!
14 Minuten online, und schon 13.500 Menschen haben es sich angeguckt, krass Aber zurecht!! Ihr seid t8lle Menschen und macht super Arbeit, ich liebe diese Videos, einfach wunderbar🎉❤
I am a bricklayer and your methods drive me crazy!
Your comment is uncalled for. Very rude.
Big Dan, you're so fortunate that's a beautiful place you have, it's so lush, your brick work is looking awesome as well, can't wait to see ya tomorrow
You are soooo!!! Good at it so no need for stress and what is the worse scenario, it falls down and you have to do it again lol 🤗
I want to “not” watch for a while so I can build up a month of episodes to watch all at one time but I can’t keep myself from clicking immediately when you release them. Love your channel, thank you so much for sharing.
Enjoyed riding up on the pail & yes, I spotted the coke bottle on the bricks. It's like Where's Waldo but Where's the Coke Bottle..lol 😅❤
It is a beautiful arch, congratulations 🎉
😅where oh where are the LIKES for a job well done? People show some LOVE❤❤❤❤❤
Great job on the arch! Glad you're past that one. And the car park is looking really good.
Lovely arch, Nice brick work Dan
I love the round wood beam fence at the car park. It is a pretty and peaceful area now. Very welcoming.
Great progress, bricks and all!
Before long, rain will never be an excuse.
Nick is livin on the edge. 😮👏
Dan, although you don't enjoy bricklaying, you do a good job of it. Not to bring your mood down any but, you haven't even scratched the surface about the amount of stone and brick work that has to be done on that place. A suggestion to release brick stress, just tell yourself it is better than it was before you started and will be well worth it when it is all completed.
Love all of you, your hard work and dedication plus determination! Can’t wait for more. Be safe and as always Thank you for sharing Dan!! ❤
Am I the only one who thinks that Dan’s brick laying skills are very much improved?😅
Thank you, Dan!
I love bricklaying episodes, digging episodes, and Nick using a tractor like a broomstick episodes 😊
Your restoration work on the brickwork and the brick arch is truly beautiful. While it might not be your usual forte, the results for the chateau are undoubtedly impressive!
I am so excited for you to have come this far and now looking up to the top , come on Mr roof ! Then let it rain! It’s still beautiful!
Dan finally tackles his 'arch' nemesis.
I'll see myself out now.
Absolutly loving the series so far. Can't wait to watch every evening an episode lands. Keep up the amazing job. "See you tomorrow, sssshhhmmp"
Great arch brickwork yet again!!! Car park looks amazing 🎉
Nice ride in the bucket. Thanks for a different vantage point! That arch is a piece of art.
Nice job on the arch Dan.❤
Well done guys, car park getting there!
Кровля в середине очень сложной конструкции , но вы справитесь!!!! 💪💪
Great job on the arch mate ....nice to see 👀 it all coming together.
Good to know Dan is human like the rest of us.
I too have jobs that I know how to to, can do easily, need to be done, and are satisfying once done, but find really hard to start
I haven't slept, saw the beginning of the video and it took me a moment to grasp that the bucket was full of cement and so I thought to my self "what the heck does he need with all of that hummus"
😂😂😂
Onwards and upwards! Momentarily though, at 2.36 in, my heart sank. I then realised it was the ‘wobble’ of the staging you were on, and not the wall upon which the arch is sitting!! I’m in awe at the sheer joy that you exude Dan.
Excellent job you guys, your doing great work.
Lovely bit of form work! And two beautiful brick arches, well done ❤
Bonjour SuperDan 😊 je ne me rends pas compte de ce que devient le jardin … ça a tellement poussé !! Et les allées en gravier et le parking voitures sont propres et chics 👍🏻
Cette arche, bravo ! Tu maitrises 👍🏻💪🏻
À bientôt !
🌸🌸🌸
Keep a framed artist's color rendition of the finished goal.... complete with landscaping.... hanging in the Chateau.....to help inspire you to happily continue on to that glorious finish line !!! I'm guessing you have a radio to play music to work by sometimes also !?!
What an awesome restoration of an important building you have taken on ! THANK YOU and BLESS you and your family....including all the dogs ! And yes!...THANK YOU to ALL of the men involved !!!
You are doing so well. Thank you for being such an inspiration ❤. So many things are difficult in life but you are showing g each one of us that even things that seem impossible are possible God bless you for that x
Every brick lovingly placed. Well done!
Better than ‘the block’ (channel 9 tv). No dramarama, just incredible work.
Love the sound of the bricks clanking together. It surprises me how light weight and hollow they sound. Always one to amaze, that Dan! ❤
You haven't even scratched the surface about the amount of stone and brick work that has to be done on that place. As they say, the longest journey begins with a single step.
How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time!
Exactly, Trentgay !
"bricky things" so annoying.😅
Yes, loads on the masonry, roof, plastering, internal finishing woodwork, mechanical and electrical services etc
All the armchair builders saying he will be finished by Xmas in the comments.
Absolutely years of work, unless he hires a lot of trades in!
You're new here, aren't you?
Keep pushing forward, Dan.👍
Dan I know you don't like to lay brick but just think you do such a good job!!! The whole Chateau is made up of brick so you really don't have a choice if you want the Chateau to look like it did originally. Hang on Dan, it won't be long before you are hanging sheet rock. Kathy USA 🇺🇸
Your arch is beautiful as is your brickwork! Bravo Dan and great to see the car park finished. ❤❤😊
Crazy weather
Dan has added "cable cam" to his camera package 🤣
Looks terrific
👏 looking good!
