I think you're missing one point Stephen. "New models" = we saw 2 revealed and there might be more in the future. "including more affordable models" could mean the cybercab and something else (because it's plural) but only the cybercab might be planned for Q1-Q2. The other model(s) might be planned for much much later
Just to remind, the discontinued SR was already selling for $39k. Just improve manufacturing costs a little, and strip out a few features, and it's $35k. Actually under $30k if they put American batteries in it.
With different rims, smaller 19"/18", with a wheel cover, the range for a long range will increase. 320 miles is on a 20" wheel with no wheel cover. My guess is somewhere 330/340 miles based on Chinese release miles.
You have to have models people will pay for with no rebate. Expensive cars is great for people with money. Cheap cars that still go far and charge super fast. Doesnt need heated seats if it has remote start that can heat the car.

Doubtful. Maybe in the future we'll have one or two specialized models but for the majority of the market, 350-400 miles is plenty. Realistically, the average driver only needs that kind of range a few times per year. I'm sure there are plenty of exceptions to this rule but for now they'll have to wait.

So no, the range isn’t long enough for me. Try again. Do some research on range degradation because of temperature as well as towing a trailer .
