In today's video, Vick Almighty works on these animal instincts Jordan 11s and turns them into black cat Jordan 11s. Vick starts off by giving the shoe a nice fade and cuts the hair. He then moves on to dying the panel using black paint. Unfortunately, the paint was not sticking to the hair so he had to dye it instead. Vick then went on to painting the small details on the shoe and painting the midsole black. In the last step, Vick printed out a black cat stencil and applied it to the insole. You can always tell when a popular jordan is a flop when theres still plenty of sizes in stock weeks/months after its release. These shoes were a hard pass for me but you turned them into something I'd definitely wear. You and your girlfriend did a great job. Nike really should employ more talented people like you to design their shoes. Some of their colourways are just horrible

They only release bad cws so they can sell more shoes without killing to much hype. If they just sat and mass-produced all retros colours/ fire cws so everyone could have pairs then clearly no one would care cos everyone has them

This is 🔥🔥🔥. What I love about this custom is it actually makes sense as an animal theme since “black cat” is one of MJ’s nicknames with his friends. Super dope idea and I will have to do this when I see these 11’s hit the Nike Outlet!

What would have been better is if you kept the prints and made them look like a shadow like how a black panther/jaguar is that would have been fire. But these came out great. I still like the original look though. It’s only for people who like individuality not for people who want to look like everyone else.

Back when I first saw this pair of 11's I was like I can just dye them black & go figure Vick made a video of it.
I always take some clear packing tape and lay over the print on the sole. It’ll never wear away. Glad Vic mentioned to dye the midsole black first cause when I saw him go straight to painting I was like noooo

Only gripe is that the midsole should’ve stayed white and the red stitching too add some contrast but all in all, well executed and a great custom nonetheless!! 🙏🏽❤️

Use a cotton ball and dab The 23 on the back and let it soak in and then use masking tape to pull it off And then you can put whatever heat transfer a stencil you want

You can use a Jordan Future black midsole and take the bottom sole off so you don't have to paint it and switch the bottom sole
