  • The Diezel Amps are not easy to master - getting a great tone out of these monsters can be tricky. Now with the Captor X it has become a thing of joy and ease.

Sounds awesome my man. I really loved just listening to your riffs, it all sounds awesome in my opinion. Lately I've been working way too much so a lot of my projects and stuff has gone to the wayside unfortunately. This video reminds me of why I spent the money I have on tube amps... i invested in some DI stuff and have been playing mostly through the computer for convenience and I hate it. Nothing beats the sound of hot tubes. Great content as always and thanks for posting brother!

Took me about a month to truly dial in my vh2. The pots are super sensitive to the smallest adjustments.

I’m pretty excited about the diezel vh mini. Apparently he’s selling them direct at the moment but they haven’t been officially released or something like that.

Sounds great! I don't know if I missed it, but were these original riffs? They sound awesome. Do you have any music out for listening or not yet?

Hey Colin, it is original stuff. I have currently nothing produced for listening. But if the demand increases, I'll think about it ;-)
Thanks for the support and compliments

Jack, did you see this yet? A buddy sent it over this morning. I know we have all been talking about the possibility of an Adam Johns signature Les Paul for some time now. Looks like it’s coming to fruition.
“NAMM 2020: Gibson Signature Les Paul Custom for Adam Jones”. It’s on Gearnews.com
Obviously I can’t drop the link in UA-cam but it should be easy to find the article. Also, apologies for putting this in a comment. I couldn’t figure out how to DM you.
    Enjoy brother!

Just got this & stock it sounds nowhere near as good as the head into a diezel FL 4x12 v30. Made me want a boost for the first time.

Crap + Crap = Gold? You don't have to be Einstein to get that equation right 😁 For the amount of the VH2 and the Captor X (for me at Thomann actually 2420 Euro) you can get a decent Amp without having to study rocket science plus more versatile and, maybe, sounding even better (and if you don't go high end you get a good head, cab and a HB Fusion and you are ready to rock on stage). And come on, that sound is not that unique that it's a must have 😜 Awesome video showing me for what I should never spend a Cent for 🐱‍👤 A big like and stay safe \o/

Diezel amps are amps for professional players. The recording on this video doesn't really do a good job of capturing the sound. Go watch some other VH2 vids with people just playing straight in. These amps have less gain than you expect but that's a good thing. It improves your overall definition as well as making you a better player. I run my gain at about 2 o'clock and the amp just hammers. The cab also makes a big difference. I have a Diezel straight cab with V30's. That cab makes all of my heads sound better. I have a Marshall Joe Satriani head that I thought sounded good until I added this Diezel. Plugging the Marshall in to the Diezel cab makes a world of difference. The slant Marshall cab with 75 watt Celestions is nowhere near the V30 straight cab sound. Mic placement and recording techniques can be huge too.
