The first time I found Sleeping awith Sirens was when I accidentally clicked on the music video for With Ears To See And Eyes To Hear. I was amazed and entertained by how Justin was so active on stage playing his bass that I was interested in the band. I also thought Kellin was really cool for he somewhat made me believe that it doesn't matter if the pitch of our voice is high or low. All in all, it was quite cute how everyone except Justin was quite stiff on stage on their first show. I can see how awkward Kellin is moving around and his voice was also shakey.
This footage needs to be preserved for the sake of the scene. Wow. The instrumentals. The vocals. The barefoot. This lil live rework is way better than the album version
And I believe that they got signed on/around August 26, 2009. On that day, Kellin posted a status that said (I'm copy and pasting it) "writing a record.. signed to a label.. does life get better?".
Good to see these boys getting some success. Kellin joined a local band where I'm from (for all we know) for like...a day. But I was super impressed by his voice and it's good to see him finding success using it. Also cool that a couple of the for all we know guys are here too!
@forcefeddrama I know, they're from Florida. They recorded demos that Rise Records liked, so they were signed, and ended up on the We Came As Romans tour, before ever playing a show. The singer, Kellin Quinn, had one of those unique sounds that Rise took a chance on before ever seeing them play a single show
Believe me, this isn't their first show. I will agree with some, it may have been their first BIG show. You don't have that many people come out and see you at your first show. I'm in a band and our first couple of shows only averaged about 40-50 people. Also, you wouldn't be playing with a well known band your first show.
man this is amazing! i saw them at there 3rd show ever in cleveland. did ya by any chance get any other songs recorded live? congrats to these guys for gettin signed by risee. theyre awesome and have a legit label backin em now they deserve it. they will be huge by summer.

@NolantheClown Heck yeah I saw them on that one tour with miss may I a while back but they were playing down stairs in Hell and it just had shit quality I know they can put on a good show from the videos I've seen they just need a larger venue to work with.

@gochloego333 Jonny Craig is more like Craig Owens in the fact that their voices are very distinguishable from other bands' singers, like no one can sound like them. They don't sound alike, but they're alike in that sense.
The singer of this band looks like christofer drew (nevershoutnever) (or chris looks like him) xD. This singer doesnt wear shoes and i saw that he has a tattoo on his foot (or not?) Christofer wears no shoes too and he has a tattoo on his foot. :D.

Yeah at my 1st show everyone was outside the venue while we played lol. Really only played 5 shows ever but they were fun times.

His screams are really deep here, and not so high pitched. He looks so funny and awkward, glad he is more natural on the stage now like Justin.
