Walking across the Brooklyn Bridge is such an amazing experience. I was born in the Bronx but raised & still live in the county right above the City. But I never did the walk till I was almost 50 & my cousins live in Brooklyn and my aunt still lives there in Marine Park (which is by Sheepshead Bay or JFK airport - so more on the opposite from Manhattan). Also in the 1970’s as a child Brooklyn wasn’t as popular as it has become & was more run down and more dangerous than it is today!
I found this after hearing Jay sing in Hands on a Hardbody. I knew he was in On The Town, and I’m auditioning for Heather Stovall and/or Kelli Mangrum in Hands on a Hardbody. I loooove these two! If you’re looking for a good video of Jay, look up the song I’m Gone. It’s so pretty.
