This game has some of the best dynamic intros for me, it's one of the things it excels at in my opinion. I tried to include enough of cutscenes for each one to give them a good buildup.

Mostly because this game nerfed Tiger Drop.
Nah, he was launching a normal which Akiyama responded with Counter Kick. Honestly Kiryu should've know better.

The fact that kiryu takes 6 metal rod hits to the face at full force, two punches one in the stomach and one in the head and was still able to fight a high rank Yakuza was actually crazy

Those are legitamate fighting techniques, in most Eastern Asian martial arts (the ones I’ve studied [not necissarily practiced] Hapkido, Karate) utilize the concept of Ki, or energy. The hand postions allow Ki to flow to that oart of the body and hardens it. In a totally literal sense, it allows a trained body to both allow adrenaline to reach that part, and forces certain muscles to flex and tendons to retract to harden that surface, both allowing greater defense and stronger strikes, and certain techniqes require certain positions

I played Yakuza 0 for a week and just started playing Yakuza 6 for the first time in about a year and boy the differences around Kamurocho and combat is jarring.

Yakuza 6 has the best dynamic intros I have ever seen. No doubt what I like most out of the series.
Personally, my favorite is Joon-gi's second dynamic intro. Gives an impression that he respects a fair fight.
I forgot Nagumo’s intro was just “Hiroshima thug” he went from being treated as a mob to being a major bro. My favourite part of the game was walking around Kamurocho with the boys and just destroying anyone who messed with us.

I find it fitting that the final man Kiryu fought in the main Yakuza plotline was the only one who he couldn't forgive.

The cutscene+ dynamic intro that lead to the final fight is still one of my fav moments in the series
Damn. I love Nagumo's theme. Its low and deep like its trying to be scary and foreboding but the tune makes it come out as playful and goofy, totally fits how he fights.

the reason why i love Iwami's dynamic intro the most is because it references the Yakuza series' first dynamic intro by being in the air, and it also references Kiryu's iconic kick from Yakuza 1's cover

6:57 I can’t seem to find anyone else who’s seen it, but one time I was replaying this fight Someya was just completely missing from the Dynamic Intro, and just the sword was floating at Kiryu. Afterwards he just appeared for the fight
I’ve had something similar happen to me, but not a dynamic Intro. On the Yakuza 4 Akiyama and Tanimura fight, I got to the QTE but Akiyama was absent and Kiryu was just holding air instead of Akiyama. I think Akiyama disappeared from the QTE because I defeated him and only had Tanimura left to fight, and the QTE happened even though Akiyama was defeated.
You missed the “Darts Guy” and “Bloody Shark” self parodies :P XD

It confused me at first, but that phrase has a very correct use. The "dragon of legend" means exactly the same as the "legendary dragon."

Personally it annoys me how Yakuza Kiwami only gets 1 dynamic intro and Yakuza 6 gets freaking 10 minutes of it.
Because Yakuza 1 had none and Kiwami had a lower budget
@@Shade497 k and? They had enough budget to make a new intro for Nishikiyama's fight. Why not make at least 1 for Majima or 1 for Shimano? Who are some of the most influential characters in the series might I add. Yakuza 6 didn't need so much dynamic intros. They should be special. This much just kills the vibe of them.

Most of the dynamic intros: sets up the characters as badasses (yes even Iwami, as outclassed as he was) putting Kiryu in for a real fight (mostly)
Akiyama's dynamic intro: shows Akiyama get the absolute shit beat out of him before the fight even starts
Damn shame how they did one of the better characters in the series dirty like that
Akiyama said he didn't want to fight him at the end of the fight. He probably wasn't trying

Jordan Power Well, there are Reviewers, who got this game early.
Also, SEGA fucked up and accidentally released full game for free, for like 2 hours you could download it and get the full version.
Asia released it with the initial release date. If you want it fast, you can just import it on Play-Asia. Not the Japanese edition but the Asia edition, it comes with English subs.

I've obtained early access to the game. The game comes out March 20th in Asia but April 17th everywhere else for some reason.
The Laughing Man Technically, it's already out here in South East Asia. Play-Asia released it with the initial release date.

I wish I could say for sure. Maybe Chinese and Korean name structures aren't the same. E.g: Big Lo isn't Lo Big, but Han Joon Gi is Joon Gi Han.
Both Chinese and Korean names put family names before first names
For some reasons localization switches name for Japanese and Korean, but not Chinese
You could google a Chinese name, like Mao Zedong, and his name is usually written in Chinese order, but a Japanese name like Hideo Kojima is written in Western order. (Kojima is his family name)
Most of the Asian put family name before their given name. It's not just the Chinese, the Korean and the Japanese. I guess they didn't do that to Lau Ka Long cause it might sound weird?!!

If you haven't found out by now, Stardust was bought out by the Koreans, but Kazuki was working to get it back, while Yuya took up another job, although he stated that he would work with Kazuki again if he got Stardust back.
I still say Someya should have been the final boss.
