God this band is on another planet !! Been listening to it non stop for weeks now and the new album is on repeat since it came out !! I've met them before a concert a few years back and they are absolute gentelmen !!

Breaking down songs, lyrics, having different interpretations is great. Gojira have so many awesome tunes and interesting tracks that it brings good things when you reflect on them, high quality. High vibes, thoughts, emotions.

Gojira are huge Sepultura fans, and count them as a major influence... they’ve also collaborated band members. So hearing a Sepultura vibe would be completely natural.

@@thewindmillfullovcorpses Joe Duplantier (singer/guitarist Gojira) has also been a bass player for the Cavalera Conspiracy - the band formed by Max after leaving Sepultura. Gojira also has a cover you can find on YT of Sepultura’s song Territory.
Further, Joe has openly been quoted as saying that Amazonia is a straight tribute to Sepultura, so there’s that :)

Does it piss anyone else off when UA-camrs pause the song in the middle? I know the point is to add annotations in the middle and stuff like that but it would be more enjoyable if they either added comments at the end, or backtracked a few seconds when resuming. Sorry I don’t wanna be a Karen, it just ruins the experience of the song for some people
I get it bro, sometimes I piss myself off as well. But I can't keep the stack of thoughts and it also makes it less likely to be copyright blocked so that's why we do it. Thanks for watching. /Andrei
Okay guys quick lesson... love your channel and all, but there's three stages in a proper reaction video without making people want to pull out their hair. 1 - set up the video, the song and of course the Band. 2 - then, without any interruptions... Much less every 20 seconds, you listen to the song and its entirety. 3 - and then and only then you stopped the video when it's done and you give your opinions critiques or whatever you might want to give. But never ever ever stop a metal song especially right when they're going into a chorus, a verse or even the bridge. It's a cardinal sin especially if it's Gojira
Thank you for the feedback! I get your main gripe is with the pausing. There's actually reasons for that! Gojira is the most troublesome band when it comes to copyright claims and we went out of our way to pause more than usual to avoid any issues, which didn't happen by the way so we had to postpone publishing the clip. Another would be that there are only so many thoughts you can stack up, and if we want to give some coherent insight, at least one pause or maybe 2 per song (which is what we do on average for 4-6 minutes songs) seems well justified. Hope your hair grows back, and that you had some fun nonetheless! / George
