  • Here is my edit of « A WOMAN’S HEART IS A DEEP OCEAN OF SECRETS » Film Version from “TITANIC” score, composed by James Horner, modified for the film by James Cameron.
    Tracks used :
    [“2.09 - A WOMAN’S HEART IS A DEEP OCEAN OF SECRETS”]
All material I used for this edit is from « La La Land Records 20th Anniversary Expended Edition” of the Score, avalaible since December 2017. It’s the first time ever “Titanic” Score is released complete, with all tracks, alternates and sources musics ! BUY IT HERE (5000 units limited) : www.lalalandrecords.com/Site/T...
    --------------------------
“TITANIC” COMPLETE SCORE - AS HEARD IN THE FILM - WAS NEVER RELEASED, BECAUSE IT DOES NOT “EXIST”, AND NEVER “EXISTED” AS AN OFFICIALLY COMPOSED, CONDUCTED AND RECORDED MUSIC.
MOST OF “TITANIC” SCORE - IN ITS FILM VERSION - IS MADE OF CAMERON’S EDIT/CUTS/MIX UP OF SEVERAL TRACKS PREVIOUSLY COMPOSED AND RECORDED BY JAMES HORNER, BEFORE DEFINITIVE EDITING OF THE FILM.
TILL NOW, THE ONLY CHANCE TO HEAR THE COMPLETE FILM VERSION SCORE OF “TITANIC” WAS THE (WONDERFUL) LIVE CONCERT OF THE FILM. FOR EXACTLY 20 YEARS, FANS HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR THE COMPLETE SCORE WITH AS MUCH OBSTINATION AND PASSION THAN BROKE LOVETT DESPERATLY LOOKING FOR THE HEART OF THE OCEAN. AND LIKE OLD ROSE WHO SECRETLY KEPT IT WITH HER, SONY RECORDS PRECIOUSLY KEPT THE COMPLETE MATERIAL AND NEVER RELEASED IT. FORTUNATLY, THANKS TO OUR FAVORITE SCORE LABEL, “TITANIC” SCORE WON’T END UP IN THE ABYSS.
NOW, FOR THE FIRST TIME, ALL MATERIAL - (ALBUM VERSIONS, ALTERNATES, ADDITIONNALS AND SOURCE MUSICS, NECESSARY TO RECREATE THE FILM VERSION) - IS AVAILABLE & NEWLY RELEASED IN LA-LA LAND RECORD 2017 20TH ANNIVERSARY EDITION (5000 UNITS LIMITED). ONE MORE MUSICAL MIRACLE FROM LA-LA LAND RECORDS. GOD BLESS THEM FOR THIS !
THE 4 CD ALBUM FEATURES A TOTAL OF 68 TRACKS (TOTAL DURATION : 4H22).
    45 ARE JAMES HORNER’S MUSIC.
23 ARE SOURCE MUSIC (I SALONISTI FOR TITANIC ORCHESTRA & GAELIC STORM FOR IRISH MUSICS IN THIRD CLASS).
AMONG 68 TOTAL TRACKS, 34 (HALF THE ALBUM!) WERE UNRELEASED BEFORE LA LA LAND EDITION.
AMONG 45 HORNER’S TRACKS, ONLY 16 HAD BEEN RELEASED (1/3), 29 ARE NEW AND NEVER RELEASED TILL NOW. THIS IS THE RECOVERED PARTS - HOPELESSLY DESIRED FOR 20 YEARS - OF A GIGANTIC MUSIC PUZZLE OF ALTERNATES THAT CAMERON USED TO MAKE HIS OWN EDIT FOR THE FILM AN THAT WE, HAPPY FEW, WE, BAND OF FANS, CAN USE NOW TO DO THE SAME. ALL MATERIAL IS HERE.
FOR EACH TRACK EDIT BY CAMERON FOR THE FILM, TITLE OF THE ORIGINAL TRACK USED BY HIM IS MENTIONNED.
TOTAL OF HORNER MUSIC IN FILM VERSION : 37 TRACKS / 1H40 DURATION

@@Lufthansa631 holy shit! I never thought about that! Hmm... maybe she wasn't that famous, Brock Lovett and his team would've recognised her if she was. Or maybe she was a theatre artist and not a film actress.
But now that you've mentioned her mother, I wonder what would've become of her after the tragedy. She had lost all her fortune already and marrying her daughter off with wealthy Cal was her last hope to remain in the upper class. :/

I'd say karma. If you remember on the Carpathia, old Rose voiced over as Cal was lookin for Rose in the third class section of the ship. She said that he remarried. So, he basically kicked Ruth to the side. I really want to know what happened to her. It always pays to be humble.

The Statue of Liberty represents freedom from oppression. Before air travel, ships would sail into New York Harbor and Lady Liberty would welcome their passengers, many of them being immigrants traveling to the United States for the first time. I can’t imagine being a survivor of the Titanic wreck and living to be 100. Rose must’ve lived her life with so much guilt and it really hurt her inside. She may have belonged to first class, but she was the only first class person to go down to third class when she was with Jack. She saw how full of joy, happiness and life those people had. People in first class who owned businesses and were already rich saw America as a once in a lifetime business opportunity whereas people in third class saw it as an opportunity of a lifetime for a better life period. Despite with the guilt she probably lived her life knowing nearly everyone in third class died in the sinking, she had to have felt proud that she was few of the first class that stayed until the end, for Jack. She also fulfilled his dying wish that she lived her life to the fullest even if it would be without him.

Right. There was a lot of grief. Something which people, unknowingly, can forget. Or just don't think about. That is what James Cameron nailed with Brock Lovett's role (played by the honorable Bill Paxton), the treasure hunter. At first all he could think about was Cal's diamond for $$$ etc. Then, after hearing the story from the elder Rose .... he finally got it. And didn't seem interested in the diamond anymore after all. Realizing there is more to life than a diamond.

"When the Carpathia arrived in New York at 9:30 pm on the cold and rainy evening of April 18, 1912, the ship first bypassed Pier 54, its home Cunard Line pier, and sailed up the river to Pier 59, the berth for the White Star Line, to drop off the empty lifeboats. Pier 59 is where the Titanic was supposed to have arrived. The Carpathia then sailed back to Pier 54 to let off the booked passengers and the survivors of the doomed ship. Tens of thousands of people gathered around Pier 54 to meet them and to hear the stories of the maritime disaster. A tug boat filled with photographers followed the ship to the pier, and the flashlight of cameras lit up the ship in the night sky to reveal that the decks were crammed with passengers.

Yes there was, that is true. It was the SS Californian that apparently was close enough for some of Titanic's passengers to see. The Californian encountered a large ice field at around 10:20pm, and had previously sent Titanic messages warning them about ice in the area. The reason why they didn't act on coming to Titanic's aid of rescue or help was because they had turned off their wireless transmitter off for night.

What Lawrence couldn’t know was that a century later, even after all survivors had passed away, people around the world would still remember this date and time, and continue to commemorate the sinking of the Titanic.

She hid under the blanket and registered her name as Rose Dawson. Regardless, Cal knew of Jack's full name, so I'm surprised that didn't pique his suspicion. Of course she couldn't have sold the necklace either, otherwise she'd be tracked down..

According to the front-page account in The New York Times of April 19, 1912, when the ship finally pulled in to dock near Fourteenth Street, two thousand people were on the pier and waiting in "almost complete silence." (1) Near the pier, 30,000 people had gathered, and 10,000 more lined the Battery. (2) In addition to friends and relatives, medical personnel and government officials were on the scene. The Carpathia passengers disembarked first, because the ship's captain realized that the scene would become tumultuous as soon as the Titanic survivors first appeared. That moment came. When a woman passenger with teary eyes and makeshift clothes descended a gangplank and stumbled away from the boat on the arms of an officer, the crowd started to wail with sounds of shrieks and sobs.

Well... Rose and jack were together till very end... Like till Jack's death (But physically)....But cal and rose's stupid mother Ruth didn't liked when rose was with jack... So ofc as all are saying that Ruth and cal would have searched for rose...But she would have ignored them... It's true... But I love the way rose uses jack's last name (Dawson) After her name.... To keep honor of jack as he died....And yes I also love the way rose died and goes back to Titanic heaven... With all those people who died that night and yes the reason why she only didn't see jack but also Fabrizio, helega, Tommy, Cora and other passengers and crew passengers because she also felt bad for those people and jack was one of them... And you all must be knowing that rose was having all the pictures of her...Like on horse riding, roller coaster and etc.... She wanted to do all this things with jack and she dis it but not with jack.... But she atleast did it.. if she would have lived with cal she would have not able to do it... And yes jack always remained with her till she died and he was with her while she was telling the story....

On Tuesday morning,April 16, the headline on the front page of the New York Times broke the first news of the tragedy: “Titanic Sinks Four Hours After Hitting Iceberg.” The Times had gotten hold of wireless telegraph reports of the Titanic’s distress signals on Monday night.A new age of immediate media coverage was ushered in; the reputation of the New York Times as a major national newspaper grew, thanks to its early breaking of the story and coverage of the event.
By the time the Carpathia docked in New York on Thursday evening, April 18, intense interest in the disaster had spread worldwide .Newspapers issued special editions.White Star offices were crowded with people eagerfor news. The flags of all ships in New York Harbor were flown at half mast. As the Carpathia glided toward Pier 54, she was surrounded by tugs. Reporters shouted out questions.More than 30,000 people waited in the rain, huddled under black umbrellas. Police had strung ropes to allow the survivors to pass. The usual customs inspections didn’t take place.
Souvenir hunters were already out in full force. On Thursday night, people stole oars and equipment from the Titanic’s lifeboats, which had been unloaded from the Carpathia. But interest in Titanic memorabilia had begun even earlier. James and Mabel Fenwick, a honeymoon couple on board the Carpathia, discovered a hardtack biscuit in a Titanic lifeboat and kept it, passing it down as a family keepsake.
Colonel Archibald Gracie regretted not keeping his life belt. After moving from Collapsible B into Lifeboat 12, he huddled under a steamer rug with other passengers before reaching the rescue ship. “My life-belt was wet and uncomfortable and I threw it overboard . . . I regret I did not preserve it as a relic,” said Gracie. Perhaps he should have.Genuine souvenirs of the Titanic have only increased in value over time.Christie’s auction house has sold a brass name plate from one of the Titanic’s lifeboats for $60,000, while just a fragment from a life belt has fetched more than $11,000.

As of writing this message (January 25th, 2024), I am at the lowest point in my life. My best friend left me, my other friends left me, I’m working a job I’m miserable at thanks to my family, they don’t believe in my lifelong dream (being a filmmaker). I have no one left to believe in me, just myself.
This scene gives me a sliver of hope. Maybe someday I’ll look back on this as a dark chapter in my life and not the endgame.

In the original cut, the Carpathia arrives in New York and Rose is seen GUZZLING down a donner kebab (all the sauce and salad boss). James Cameron was demonstrating the eclectic mix of peoples (in this case, Turkish) that defined the US immigration policy in the early 20th century. He subsequently took the scene out because Kate Winslet had garlic and chilli sauce all over her face and Leonardo di Caprio, who is allergic to garlic, complained about her breath.

The pitch is a little of on the piano I seems higher in the movie. It’s probably cause te clip sounded a little higher in pitch idk tho. ua-cam.com/video/sgr1tAetgss/v-deo.html see some are higher and some are lower idk what made it higher pitched some times but lower in others. This one seems lower ua-cam.com/video/SfVKR0sMP7Q/v-deo.html so I have no idea why they sound different.
