That is what it's supposed to sound like, as far as I know. I think I played this on HazeMD, which is an older Genesis emulator that isn't perfect, but if I understand what you mean about the sound, it seems to also match a newer emulator I tried.

@@hakimi5395 Supposedly, GenPlusDroid has local multiplayer if you have controllers. Otherwise, maybe something like this would work for you. ua-cam.com/video/4_LgBLMsuO0/v-deo.html I have had no experience trying multiplayer with any mobile emulators.

30:07 the game goes into some pretty serious slowdown mode. spots here and there in 2 player for sure. far less in 1 player mode

I would imagine that it stands out more in 2p, but you could check another 2p video if you want to compare it.

I wouldn't necessarily say the very best, but definitely one of the best on Genesis.
