This whole show was about John Snow making the hard choices, observing the hell around him, and rising from a forgotten bastard on the Nightswatch to King of the Seven Kingdoms to defeat the Night King and his army of the dead to save humanity. Then Season 8 came along and took a dump on Jon Snow, and ruined the whole show, just so they could feel smart in subverting our expectations and satisfied in promoting the modern Woke agenda. It's a tragedy really. Such a great story arc. But there's no fixing the shitty landing. The writers ultimately chose chaotic realism over structured myth, meaninglessness over meaning, ugliness over beauty. RIP John Snow. You should have been the best king in all of story, apart from Christ of course.
