All that's left now is to learn if there's a way so when you open your "recent apps", it doesn't automatically focus on the app to the "left" if that makes sense, but rather keeps your actual *most recent* app centered, and you can move left from there on your own if you wish. Kinda getting a feeling that's not possible though :(
Edit: Finally found the way, by using the Good Lock app and then the one to edit the home screen; one of the settings is to do mess with the "recent apps" page, and one of the options is to finally let me focus on the most recent app centered first :D

🎉 it’s about time .......... lol, I’m quite disappointed with this 128 no sd + 8 ram downgrade ...from my 10+ 256/sd slot+ 12 ram , not impressed, who cares about cameras when storage and ram sux. You can buy 10+ now so much cheaper.

I know this is an old video but the setting 'Icon' vs 'Detailed' is replaced by 'Brief' and 'Detailed'. I changed it to detailed but icons are still showing when the phone is locked and not the whole notification. Any help would be appreciated.
Any idea why my s22 ultra notifys with sound only and the edges don't glow or pop up like you have shown in your video. Yes I have followed the steps, turned off and restarted my phone but still its not working. Please help! It's so annoying I am not always near my phone so just the sound notification doesn't do it for me I tend to forget until I used to see blinking lights on my s9+ and remember to respond.
I think to be more user friendly for people who switch from iphones, they should just come out of the box more basic without the edge lighting etc. I know a bunch of apple guys who got overwhyand switched back lol

At 6:11 you say that you have ‘removed all of the icons’. I guess that is all widgets and apps? How did you remove them and how do you get them back onto the home screen?
Yes, I pretty much end up removing everything, that way you can have everything as per your choice. You can remove by long pressing them and tapping on 'Remove'.
*You don't have to pinch in to get to those options for wallpapers etc. btw, in a screen that has room next to the home screen, or even on the homescreen. Just tap and hold on the screen, and it'll pop up on the bottom of the screen*
Honestly...I think this is the phone I've been waiting for, coming from an S10+... having copped crazy launch deals, achieving a watch 4 and buds pro for basically free... can't even quantitative explain the experience... everything is superb, screen quality(do I even need to state that), speed, cameras(way more than decent for me, when I can take a clear pic of the moon), gaming(straight upped my game), with all other improved customization, and extra built in s-pen features(because it's in the house)... makes this phone unbelievable(can't put it down, I'm getting in trouble)... saved battery life for last... you dead on CJ, it's all on you and how you let this crazy piece of machinery with for you... I'm a launch baby and I can honestly say I was getting 5 sot out of the box... your definitely gonna have to know how to make this phone optimize to you which to me is part of all the glory... it can get 4 hrs sot or 12 pending what you do... I'm now up to 10-12 hrs sot, rocking full screen resolution, 120hz refresh rate, and pretty much maxed out activity...I do have adaptive brightness and battery activated... more than 50%of my apps are in deep sleep, and another 25% in sleep which I think contributes massively to my extended sot...I game, multi-task, watch vids(like yours), and everything... so I'm no light user... only thing I can say to people having issues with this phone, is do your research, know what your getting into... because I've been a Note user since way back like Note 4, left after the Note 7 fiasco, and came back for the S10+... and this is by far the best Phone(mind Note) I've ever owed period... it's my daily driver and damn near PC replacement to boot...I practically need no other device... and that's saying a lot. Great vid by the way speaking truth. ✌️
If you've ever had a note 10 plus which I have and I'm trading into Samsung for the S2 ultra this new phone may not be called a note but that is exactly what it is same size as the Note 10 plus which is a very good phone I like the notes very much I've had earlier ones I did have an S10 Plus which was fine but I prefer the note so I'm glad they brought it back even though they don't call it should be a terrific phone

Another cool shortcut is the double press sidekey to open camera. It's a must have if you like taking photos. Great video.
I set that up to turn on flashlight. very handy when checking the mail in the dark
