All NASCAR has to do is not ruin the racing at Bowman Gray Stadium. It's a pretty tall order for this particular leadership group at NASCAR. Just leave it alone and everything will be fine.
The south is literally the only part of the country that watches nascar in large numbers. Nascar has spent 30 years trying to expand to the west and to the north but to little avail. If they want ticket sales they've got to race in the Carolinas and it's surrounding area. For example compare the attendance at literally any charlotte race to any California race. Compare the attendance at any Chicagoland race to any Atlanta race, etc. etc. It's never even close.
I mean just take a look at this years Clash in LA. Free admission, and 19,000,000 people (NINETEEN MILLION people) who live just minutes away. Yet the attendance was a joke
@@MrJohansen the attendance to the clash was a joke because it was the first time nascar ever moved the race ahead a day because of an impending flood. the free admission wasnt supposed to be for the race, it was supposed to be for the heats. Im not for moving races out west, but dont act like midwest has low attendance. also, the south gets all the good tracks which definitely gives them an advantage. superspeedways and short tracks are nascars bread and butter, how many of those are located outside of the south? (the answer is zero). Michigan is the only track within 200 miles of me and I would not be going to that track every year if we had an actual good track within 8 hours of my house. but the nearest short track is an 8 hour drive and the nearest superspeedway is 10 hours.

They're talking about the Clash being relocated to it, or maybe a truck series race. They will never have a Cup Series points race there.

The only thing is Nascar has to let the drivers carry on The Bowman Gray tradition if you have a dispute with another driver settle it like men
