This unit is absolutely phenomenal!! We have been running it for a month straight and we hardly hear it running and the room is consistently the same temperature.The installation takes time but it is well worth it.

What size and standard is the allan key to remove the blower wheel from the motor shaft?

Now that I think about it, that motor squealing isn't that bad.. We can just wear earplugs..
Richard Lee mine had a horrible knocking sound, just pulled it out and Macgyvered it with some zip ties.
Put it back together and the knocking is gone but now there is a squeal, also I think it was easier than the video makes out.
Guys, my evaporator fan motor was damaged, I bought a new original one, and since it works, I cannot control the speed, I set it in AUTO and it goes for some minutes to speed 1 then suddenly speed 5 (in less than a second), I manually set it to speed 1 and it still goes to MAXIMUM speed. What could be wrong? PANASONIC inverter 9000btu

Terrible. Companies make it as hard as possible to discourage you from repairing and instead force you to buy a new one. Bastards.

It would be nice if we could find a service manual that has basic "easy" service in it. For example, I'd like the steps to take out and clean the blower fan that is full of dirt. There is a service manual I've located, but it doesn't have anything about removing the blower fan so it can be cleaned.

The service manual has nothing about cleaning the blower fan. Is it removal, or is that too risky for possible breakage? How about providing a slotted brush of some sort that can be used to reach up and clean the blower without taking the thing apart?

Im not sure there is anything "easy" about mini-splits... 10 pounds of plastic crap, in a 5 pound box.

How do u separate the cylinder from motor shaft. It’s so tight
It’s called a fan scroll. If it’s tight u get a file onto the shaft and file it gently and keep rotating it while filing the whole way around, it should slide off then once you untighten the screw
I am dissatisfied with this brand. I purchased Split AC 6-7 months before. There was water leakage issue from indoor unit.
Indoor unit changed by service man. Same issue faced again with new indoor unit. It was manufacturing defect. Again service man changed entire body of indoor unit and switched on for testing. At that time new problem faced. Indoor blower running too slow now.
I don't understand the problem.
Now service person said blower motor is faulty.
Very very bad experience with Panasonic.
Mine Panasonic Aircond got power in but whole unit no function, no bib sound, try to change board also not working 🥲🥲

Stay away from Panasonic. I regret buying a 3 zone Panasonic. My garage has a pioneer and so much better! The controls and has wifi.
