I grew up on James Taylor. As a Carolina alumni he was the college’s troubadour. They play Carolina in my Mind at literally everything. I’ve seen seen 20 times in my 50 years. But the best show that wasn’t his best was taking my mother to Carowinds in 1988 as a mother’s day present. She got into the back tunnel and they talked for 30 minutes about UNC and Chapel Hill. James father was the dean of the Medical School for years. He’s a solid citizen.
