- All of the Honda NSX GT500 '00's appearances in the Gran Turismo series using the Castrol Mugen livery. I'm so happy we get the NSX GT500 '00 back in GT7! Thanks to it first appearing in Gran Turismo 3, I have SO many memories using it in Gran Turismo 3's Arcade Mode. I'd jump between the Castrol and the Arta, but I think I used the Castrol more. The Raybrig had to be unlocked in GT Mode and as a kid...I wasn't very good at GT3's GT Mode.
Seeing Gran Turismo legends coming back makes me so happy! Welcome back Honda NSX GT500 '00!

Please do your ears a favour and do NOT listen with ear phones! The GT5 and GT6 engine sound is extremely grainy, its listen to static. This car definitely had a rough time with its engine sounds.
GT3 and GT7 are my favourites!
The 2000 NSXs and 2001 NSXs for me sounded like the Tommy Kaira ZZII and Minolta Toyota 88C-V in the older updates.

Lol I pre-recorded the older games when it was revealed the NSX was coming back. I wanted to be prepared!

Interesting fact: This car throughout its inclusion from GT3-GT6 was modelled after the car as it participated in Round 2 of the JGTC championship at Fuji (as were many of the 2000 GT500 cars) while the car in GT7 is now based on its configuration at many other rounds of the championship. This explains why if you notice, the diveplanes on the front and even the hood vent is different this time around.

The trio Japanese JGTC champions in GT7 : Toyota (Supra Castrol TOM'S GT500 1997), Nissan (Skyline GT-R BNR34 Pennzoil Nismo 1999), & Honda (Castrol Mugen NSX GT500 2000).
It looks like they are focusing on bringing back legendary race cars than adding more tracks to GT7. They just need to add just a few more legends (preferably literally any car that was in Gran Turismo 3)

GT2 had the 97 and 98 models. This is the 2000s model that appeared the most.
I was originally going to add the cars from GT2, but I decided against it. I'll probably add the Raybrig from GT2 though for the Raybrig video.

This is JGTC not GT500.
Its just listed as Honda NSX GT500 '00 in game. I guess to keep it generic so you can fit it with any livery.
@@solsticecity rlly, guess the North American versions worded different than the European cuz last time I checked they called it Honda Castrol MUGEN NSX '00 but idk 🤷♂️
@@solsticecity and JGTC era ran from 1994-2004 then GT500 started in late 2005
@@zacharychambers7570 It's called the Honda Castrol MUGEN NSX '00 from GT3 until GT6, the name changed in GT7. Which is why I titled the video that way, with the current name. Though I still put Castrol Mugen so people would know which branding it has.

I think GT5 and GT6 are by far the worst ones
and as always, the GT3 sound sucks
I'd argue the GT4 sound is worse. its so grating to hear for long periods of time and its not helped by the fact its on so many damn cars in the game. Its at least bearable on GT3, not accurate but also not completely irritating to listen to in a long race.
