- The GOA(UK) celebrated Goa’s diva Lorna’s 75th Birthday when she arrived in a Mercedes convertible and rocked the stage at annual UK Goan Festival in Hounslow London.
The event started with Solemn High Mass celebrated by His Excellency Bishop Patrick Lynch together with Goan priests and St Anselm’s Choir, followed by stage performances with background score from Frampton De Sa on the keyboards and DJ Flacid. There were various stalls of food and drink, a fun fair and more. This annual Goa Day event was organised by the Goan Association(UK) under the presidency of Ravi Vaz.
In this video we have performance by ‘Nightingale of Goa’ Lorna Cordeiro singing her Konkani greatest hits.

Goans when will you get civilized?
1) First you wasted time by calling Lorna and it looked like no body knew what was happening.
2) The hosts were calling Lorna on the left side of the stage but finally she entered from the centre. What a poor planning. It looked like Biharis were on the ground.
3) People on the stage along with the host lady with silver dress was disrespecting the legend by taking selfies, videos when Lorna was signing.
Guys show same changes in the attitude. Be civilized.
