I'm so amazed with how far this show has come. I have been obsessed with it since I heard Waving Through A Window. My final message to this production is thank you for spreading the message that people needed to hear.

watched this via livestream and WOW I was a mess. this show means so much to me and I'm sad to see it go, but so endlessly thankful for how much it gave me and all the people I met along the way. also never knew I'd be so emotional over a dear evan hansen multiverse curtain call lol

When I first saw this show (it was a slime tut sry) I just broke down, I truly saw myself in the characters especially Connor and Evan and I got to say it saved me. I was at a pretty low point and I had heard about the musical briefly, I was like I need this and I started crying at waving, because it was such a good representation of anxiety, and I didn't stop crying and that's how it goes every time I watch and listen to it. I love this show and I'm so sad it's closing. I could go on and on but I won't (sry bout bad punctuation and grammar) Ty Dear Evan Hansen team, ty ty ty. (also OMG MIKE FAIST CAME AHHHH) Edit: I saw it in person in Chicago with the tour cast for my birthday and it was amazinggggggg. I cried the whole time especially at You Will Be Found and the finale with the monologue. It was an amazing experience and I’m so glad I got to go, it was the first professional show I’ve ever seen! I gotta add Nikhil Saboo (Connor) just left which I was sad about because I know him for Mean Girls but the Connor that preformed was AMAZINGG! Anyway that’s my rant and I’m writing this on Mike Faist’s birthday sooo… HAPPY BIRTHDAY MIKE!!! 🎉🥳
I’ve had the good fortune to see the national tour in 2019. Such a beautifully intimate, bittersweet, slightly misguided but resonating musical has come to an end on Broadway. I wish everyone who made DEH possible the best. Happy Trails
