Intro is class
Bournemouth plays more similarly to us than how Brentford plays. In a Andoni Iraola system, Dominic Solanke would fit Mikel Arteta's system more seamlessly than a Ivan Toney. Although I believe Toney could do a job too, his age doesn't seem like a wise move financially for a similar price bracket. I would put Ollie Watkin's in a unrealistic bracket that would be at the least 80mil. I would prefer him over Toney but his age and price puts it pretty unlikely. Solanke has a release clause and can be ready to go if wanted. My feeling is if Sesko chooses to go elsewhere, we will bring Solanke in quickly for pre-season raring to go. Not an exciting signing but i think he will do the business. 1. Sesko (55mil), 2. Osimhen (Try for 75-80mil since we are the only ones in for him) or 3. Solanke (65mil).

The issue with Dan is he clearly doesn't understand the financial side of Arsenal which is a business under Kroenkes. His frustration that Arsenal do not just go out there and buy the top players in the world is such a flaw in an otherwise reasonable opinion podcaster who I dont mind. But yeah - if we spent like City and Chelsea he would be happy - and look where those two cheats are going!!

Dan, as a liverpool fan i watched him in every game he played for us, he had good work rate, good link up play, good stature for a striker but he seriously lacked a finish on him. Klopp really liked him, but couldnt justify keeping him with the low output, seems like his game has developed massively since getting consistant game time, his finishing reminds me a bit of girouds, outside of the boot flicks, shooting on the swivel, makes similar runs to watkins, i think any club that gets him for something like 50m's wouldnt be the worst punt in todays market, i'd rather him then Toney cuz of the age difference. just my opinion, still doesnt seem like a clear upgrade to havertz however will deffo outscore him over a season.

@@TheKh65 like i said theres not much in it, but by my observation, solanke looks like a more instinctive finisher he's hit 30 and 21 goals in his peak seasons, havertz hit 21 at leverkuson but he's more of a 10 and drifts in the spaces, false 9 type of player. i think solanke would score more but not by a huge amount..

Just my opinion, I might be wrong. 1st choice would be Isak but maybe too expensive now, sure you can say he hasn't done it at a big team either but I can see a lot more to his game and potential than I can with Solanke. Sesko as a project signing I'd be okay with so long as the money saved goes to other areas of the team that need improving. Maybe Osimhen but it's a lot of money and I don't know if he's worth it.

He wasn’t any good then. He was Eddie’s level and he has developed over time with coaching and especially consistent playing time. He has only really had one very good season.
Eddie needs to go to a club like Bournemouth and ply his trade.

Even if true, you don’t want to dilute the league. The problem isn’t beating city, it’s about other clubs beating city and even TRYING to beat city. Every other team in the prem just accepts a loss to city when the schedules first come out. They don’t even bother trying, hell they even rest their key players. That’s shameful and it’ll get worse if you fleece the league of its stars
