Good API support would make this an excellent choice. Color coded notification to certain events both for people with headphones on and the hearing impaired is something this would actually fulfill a useful purpose for.
But if it isn't programmable, it's just a gimmick on the wall...

hi thanks for your feedback. as you see from the video static and dynamic mode customization is possible, what i am complaining about is the impossibly to create a dynamic effect from scratch. i was anyway confirmed that the app is still under development and more advanced features are to come.

@@fgtechtips If the lighting is not event based, it does not fulfill any purpose. How many colors can flash in what combination is irrelevant.

I understand your point, Event based color changes is something I personally don't care, i am anyway looking forward for a screen mirror function and Razer chroma support. I have asked Cololight if there are plans also to support color coded notifications

@@fgtechtips Color coded notifications would be great, it's very useful! People who don't sit at their computers all day and/or have their screens off could be notified of things easily.
