I can only say what a pleasure it is to listen to you play. I wish all organists could embrace the passion you give the passion you give this hymn while playing it.

🌍🌎🌏Da Bomb!!! I had to listen to all three renditions over an eight year period you've put on UA-cam - This one is spot right on, and I love the fact that you take your time (much slower than 7 or 8 years ago) to establish the color and texture of each verse. Live long and continue to prosper Master Organist. Continue blessing us w/ your gift!!!🌍🌎🌏... an absolute favorite hymn!!!

I love it, especially the improvisation in the last verse. Was the harmony used in that last verse completely improvised or was this ever published? The reason I ask is that the organist at the church I was attending in 1967 surprised the heck out of me by launching into a harmony very much like yours for the last verse and pretty much repeated the same thing about 2 years later, so all these years I've wondered if these harmonies were written down. Yours reminds me a lot of what I remember hearing back in 1967 & 1969. Really nice !

Hi Bob! Thanks so much for your kind reply. The last verse is a reharmonisation that I wrote for this hymn that I'm trying to get transcribed and published in the not too distant future. You're of many people who have asked as to whether or not any of it is published yet. Protected yes, published not as yet. When that happens I'm going to make a big announcement here on my channel. Thanks again! Be well and be safe Bob.
