Today we revisit my Ernie Ball Music Man John Petrucci Majesty Artisan and see why it’s my favorite guitar of all time!

Best way to compensate high pickup output is to change the input impedance on your Axe-Fx accordingly, this way you don't have to touch your presets.

I lowered it down to 100% and swapped amp models and it made a difference for sure. It's tough to balance using high gain pickups and low gain pickups on the same preset!
I use a 6dB boost on the Input block's Output volume when I use a Strat or Tele and it's been "problem solved" ever since.

For the longest time I though Music Man were some of the ugliest guitars on the planet. To scratch an itch I bought a JP15 last week but sadly it had a pickup issue so I returned it, but now I’m no longer put off by them and will be ordering a Majesty as soon as my refund hits. It’s kinda like that ugly girl you’ve seen around for years and one night you kiss her, and from then on she’s not that ugly anymore lol.
