Tom Richey. Sir. You are a genius. You are in a class of your own. Beyond incredible. I love everything about your creations. I wish you good health and happiness to carry-on creating dream machines. God blessed you.
It's a work of art! Something you never see. Great job!

Seriously incredible build. Would have liked to have seen it with all the doors/hood shut. Where’s the link to show it running?. We demand more! 😃
Cool van, I'd have loved to have heard it running.
Did you ever get to see it run. There's 2 vidoes in the vidoes below this before the comments I'm fixen to watch. If you want I can add a link so you can see it.
Hands down the most greatest Van I’ve ever seen 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽... Thank you very much for sharing the video with all of us.... 🤙🏽🤙🏽
I saw these guys with Blastro at Norwalk's night under fire a few months ago,,cool show they put on and the burnouts are EPIC! The crew dresses up with wiggs and costumes,,just really cool!!
It’s not my style but props on allll that work. You are an artist for sure.
I still didn't get to see the
"Smokin mirrors" he was talkin about. 😂
How much smoke and mirrors?
Blastro: A lot
That dude is one hell of an engineer mechanic fabricator.
14 years WOW !
What dedication man !
Dam looks like some special hot wheels collection.
I've been to your house a couple times with my father. You were building an old army pick up the last time I was there.
Headstone woke me up a few times! Back in the day at the National Trail Speedway I had the honor of bracket racing Headstone! I was in a 4x4 Ford E 350 and they were calling me Swamp Thing!!! Had so good times with these guys!
Craftsmanship stands out. Beautiful details.
This should be made into a hotwheels
it is
@@marlotaisgone not like this thing
Hot Wheels already has an Astro van drag model.

I saw these cars a couple years back at Beacon Dragway (locates in Paducah, Kentucky). That was my first drag race that I went to. Seeing them in person was cool! Shit, seeing that Astro van race was cool! I had a lot of fun that night.
...........My favourite part is "it's definitely not comfortable"......... Outstanding!
WOW! An amazing project, well done sir.
What a awesome creation once again your attention to details are almost beyond beleif ! Along with your Craftsmanship and Creativeness your commentary always makes. Things more interesting i I love both creations Thanks for posting
Very nicely put together video and very entertaining as well. Thanks for posting this.
This is that Oldman swag right here!
Great to see you, Tom! It has been a long time! I hope everything is going well!
We had a guy that used to come out for KCIR fastest street car nationals called bad attitude, that was back in the 90's. Love seeing these being made into pro mods.
Awesome BUILD brother, incredible job.Well done Sir
This thing is just insane...love it!
He says “smoke a mirrors” to much we understand my guy.
i like what you do , good luck for the next
You Sir are a genius
I worked in the Baltimore GM plant, from 93-2000, where these were built. Funny, they didn't look like this. LOL!!!
This is just amazing
Absolutely awesome - build and set up.
That blastro is freaking awesome!
Dragway 42! I got Don Garlits autograph there back in the 80s. Great memories! Great van! ( I'd pay to be a passenger for 1/4 mile sub 8 second run!)
Wade Guidry ...if I heard correctly, he stated that he's running 1/8 mile....that's getting on down.
When a professional struggles for fourteen years to get something done, I don't really think the result is so amazing. But impressive it is, no doubt.
very nice , congrats , shoulda called it smok n mirriors tho , lol !
Love this guy! Great build!
Crazy bastard. Love it.
I still have your signature and photo of the blastro in my room
Should have named it "Smoke and Mirrors". Very Unique.

Awesome build here. Why did he not start it up ?
He’s going back backwards @80 miles an hour into tomorrow, funny brilliant guy
only reason to go backwards 80 mph, is to "go back to the future"
What an amazing machine...

Always wanted on of these rigth back too the late fifies, ans would still love to own one! Its a nice dream but i doubt at 74 I will every get thT chance.
Therevwasvsomeyhing about them that just took my fancy, they lookedva cool way to travel.
I doubt that there are many left in the world, but it would be great to get hold of a set of the plans and build it from scratch, maybe put a motorcycle enging and gearbox in.
Shame when you have the time and know how but a lack of funds, good to see one on the road a you dont see them in Australia.
I would absolutely love to have this van... holy shit it's sick...

I love it but I've lived in columbus for 35 years and I've never seen your van anywhere. Columbus is not that big. Would love to see in person.
Michael Tavares it used to be at national trails all the time. I remember when it was all primer and the motor was inside the van
