Stalker is by far my favorite perk...
same cant live without it!
It makes the LMGs and ARs far better. Probably could do without on Shotties and SMGs.

I started using this for my assassin class, and this is my gem! I'm often able to string tons of kills together with this. And as TmarTn pointed out, I'm still on the lookout for OTG users.

My biggest issue with Call of duty was always the players waiting around because I play a lot of kill confirmed and this perk has really helped notify me of somebody waiting in the area. It's a must have and very rarely have I ran into a person using off the grid.

Tmart, are you planning on doing a short little series or video on all the red ghost emblems on the maps and what they do; a lot like the one for the free care package? That would be a cool video and also help show off another dimension to the game.

I been using this perk it's best to have it on class after a Uav goes up because it's give you an idea of many guys are wearing off the grid perk ( maybe 2) and the other 4 guys are not . You can use that Intel to keep track of all 6 of them

The problem with ping and inexperienced players is whenever they kill someone youre forced to take your attention off of the main screen and look at the mini map and if theres someone near the person you killed you'll usually end up being killed while looking at the mini map
I'm using this since the game launch :D
I don't usually use Stalker because all I play is Cranked, and you get a stalker-like ability once you get Cranked.
I will say ping is also pretty good when you are sniping, because it can pop up other enemies around and team mates can go for kills. I use it a lot in snd and clan wars.
Could you do a video on best weapon in each class Tmartn? That would be cool...
Hey Tmartn can you do a video on how to finish the ping challenge? There are no videos on UA-cam explaining how the operation needs to be done.
You should do a little thing on squads that'll be amazing, like tactics and builds!?!
Sounds like a pretty good perk. But I don't know if I'm willing to get rid of some of my other perks for it. I really like my Stalker, Quickdraw, Focus, Read Up setup.
Off the grid is for me a must have perk
I used it before i watched this and i went 25+ kills and less than 4 deaths games 3 times in a row. Its a really good perk i was getting lots of triple kills

they need to patch off the grid to black ops 2's ghost and move the radar ping affect to incog
Not really useful in hardcore, cause there's not mini map. Until satcom is on.
Nobody's using it, now thanks to you everybody will be using it.

actually in mw3 the perk recon showed an enemy on the radar when trown a stun or a lethal so their actually is a simular perk.

if the ping hits an enemy and he shows up on you mini map does it show on your teams mini map?
the only perk or combination that can touch it is dead silence + amplify. I feel like I don't need ping anymore with those two equipped
I am a HCKC player. The only way I could see it working for me is if my clan and I were all running sat com's. So when the radar is up, I could see it working.
Why hasn't anyone picked up on the wiretap perk? Its really useful, it taps into enemy satcoms. So if there are two satcoms on the map (2 enemy, or 1 friendy 1 enemy) then you get a UAV.

This video would almost be useful if he mentioned how expensive the perk is, and that off the grid nullifies it completely.

Can anybody tell me if the connection on this game is similar to that of Battlefield 3 (playing on PS3)? I read that Ghosts will have dedicated servers, if so, then whats the connection like? I get crappy connection on MW3/BO2 =(...so yeah!

I reckon you should wait for a few more weeks before starting to use this perk.
The game has only been out for a week or so. Everyone is just spamming SatCom therefore most people are using off the grid.

It's only useful for my SMG class, because it's purely for run-n-gun style of play. It's totally useless if you kill them from far away, unless it shows on all teammates' minimaps.
I use Ping with ReadyUp, Dead Silence, Amplifier, Marathon and Focus on my MTAR-X (grip n silencer), it works REALLY well on certain maps, Friege, Octane, Chasm and Tremor
Honestly, it's a pretty decent perk but not even close to be Top5. Amplifier and Focus are a MUST-HAVE in all my classes, and the KILLEST perk should be Deadeyes

I dont use this perk much. I have yet to find a way to make it effective... Maybe in modes like TDM its worth using? FFA definitely not.

I run ping on almost all of my classes but I wouldn't say it's top 3 perks. Focus, amplify and stalker are probably the most useful. Aka top 3 perks.
