I just found your video and it's exactly what I'd like to create for my data set. Curious how I'd setup the F_Cur measure if what I'm charting is individual data points and not sums or averages? So I have multiple data points on a given day, taken at different times that I'd like to chart individually.
Then your x axis will be hours instead of day. You should have a filter to select one day at a time or the other way is your x axis should include date and time.
@@LifeofBusinessAnalystLoBA Thank you for responding. I figured it out! Another question I just came across is how can I set the date range for calculating my control limits and separately have a date range for my data points? I'm looking on the ASQ website and found this: "When you start a new control chart, the process may be out of control. If so, the control limits calculated from the first 20 points are conditional limits. When you have at least 20 sequential points from a period when the process is operating in control, recalculate control limits." Hopefully what I'm asking makes sense. Thank you.
This video really help me what im trying to do, thanks!!!
Glad it helped!
Excellent video! Do you know of a way to trigger notifications for when rules are matched so that people can get an email or something when it occurs?
Great video, very helpful. I wanted to mention that your Rule5 checks for a trend of 8 points rather than 6.
Good catch , that was a typo.. thanks for your time.
Great video! I just want to ask for the alternating up and down rule.
Where did you come up with the rules for your control chart? I've found different rules online and I'm trying to narrow down which ones are real.
Great video shared and Thanks ..Can you share the other rules video i.e Rule 6 ,7&8.
What is to be done if the x axis is not time, but batch numbers?
Sort your batch number in the order of production ( if it’s a text , create a ID field) and then plot the graph .

Great video ... and channel. Is it possible to get a copy of the .pbix file so I can practise creating similar charts. Thanks.
Hi great video, could we have more detail such your data to reproduce it for trainning? thank you
Great video! very useful thanks.. i need other rules(6,7,8), can you share it
