But since you asked what we thought…here we go…the Bible speaks about “entertaining angels unaware”. This could be both heavenly angels as well as evil spirits. I agree that people like her give the faith a bad name. False prophets are used by the devil for their own selfish gain. They call themselves, God don’t call them. Even the devil can “prophe-lie”. He used to be an angel of God so He knows Scripture and how to mimic things of God. These “so-called” prophets are entertaining “familiar spirits” (evil spirits) and they can even give people information. It will start off or sound true but in essence be a whole lie. That’s the enemy’s game…to tell part truth and mix it with lies and that’s why it becomes believable to many people. I noticed when she asked about the woman’s mother when she stated she died the false prophet played it off and said “how did I see that”. She was delusional in thinking she was still right about her prophecy. Then when she asked her again about the seizures, she changed her wording and said “did she fall out?” Those are 2 different things. I have a daughter that is epileptic and she don’t just fall out. Now yes, you can seize and go into a diabetic coma but that was not said at all. Honestly I think someone was feeding this false prophet info through an earpiece. This situation is sad all around for the deceived and the one that is doing the deceiving….
A true prophet or prophetess can never get it wrong as it comes directly from the Spirit of God, otherwise it would be the Spirit of God making a mistake, which is impossible. False prophets were to be put to death in the Old Testament, so it's a serious transgression, they're either lying or it's a demonic spirit giving false information. Matthew 7:15-16 - 15.
