    Hi, if you had the three sensors (AS72651 AS72652 and AS72653) to cover the range 400nm to 700nm primarily, could this be configured to measure PAR in uMole/m2/sec? Thanks!

    Hello, I have purchased the AS7265x and need some technical support with my application. I have emailed AMS but no one has gotten back to me. Is there an application support email I can message?

    Is this sensor capable of sensing all the colors of the sRGB color space distinctly?

      ams presents in this video spectral and multi-spectral sensors. For these sensors, the color evaluation takes place on the radio metric level and not the color metric level. As a result, one receives the spectrum of the sample and determines the color point via these values by overlapping the spectrum with the CIE1931 standard observer function. The last two steps must be done in the process of sensor calibration. That means, the full sensor system which exists from sensor, optics, mechanics and a luminary (if necessary) will be matched into the application. This matching is possible by using alternative algorithm’s e.g. a linear regression and correction matrix. This matrix will be calculated by measured sensor and target values. ams supports these development steps by delivery of pre-calibrated sensor systems which are corrected to be uniform. Therefore, the customer can concentrate activities at the color matching into his application.

      Hello, Where can I find CIE9131 documents? or Are you mentioned CIE1931? but they only define XYZ I see. Please how we can use this sensor's channels to derive colormetric values. Thank you.

      Hello, if you would like to detect color you have to choose the AS7261. This sensor is the XYZ-sensor in this family and it provides the XYZ values directly. And you are correct, it has to be CIE1931. With best regards!

    How to get absorbance of a material using as7263 nir ?

    • @amsOSRAMofficial
      @amsOSRAMofficial  5 років тому +1

      You can detect the absorbance of a material via reflection. You have to illuminate the object with an NIR light source and detect the reflected wavelengths. The absorbance is the difference between illuminated and reflected wavelengths.
