Thank you for this! John Loughborough Pearson is one of my favorite architects. I have never visited Truro, and at this point it looks like I never will, but your video really gives me the sense of being there. (I also love the Bach motet!)
A splendid achievement by Keith - other visitors have tried doing an unedited 'walk-round' and have ended up with hand-cramp or vertigo (or have collided with other visitors!) Those of us who spend much of our time in this wonderful church are always interested to see it through the eyes of a visitor - thank you, Keith!
I have been fascinated with Truro Cathedral most of my adult life, and now I am and will most likely never see it in this world. It is magnificent, a jewel box in its scaled down proportions and restraint. I see Salisbury…but far more intimate and cozy. The reardos is similar to the Nation Cathedral of Sts Peter & Paul on Mount Saint Alban at Washington. The vestibule doors and framework looks temporary and a much finer one is needed. Other than that, it is a most intimate and warm setting to behold. Weather new or old, it is rightly so builded of ancient rock and consecrated to be a timeless continuation of Christ promises which surpasseth all understanding. It’s a prayer in stone, but is also an human stalagmite formed and shaped on the Though…on a glimpse of Heaven.

May i ask you a question. Are there any kind of crypts underneath the cathedral?
