oh my gosh I used to love his shows!!! Grew up in the 90s, didn't realize they were re-runs. So many memories, this kind of television is so important.
I love this show! I used to watch this on PBS when I was a kid. I miss it a lot. Thanks so much for posting this. It brings back a lot of happy memories. I love the themesong. It's so happy. Reminds me of being a kid.
I loved Mr Mihuta! In first grade he came to our class in Cleveland OH. I was indescribably excited.. a shame that that was the day I wound up too sick to attend school. Still, after 30 years I haven’t forgotten how special his programs were to me.
I used to watch him during class and I have been looking for this guy to show my daughter 4 ever! Awesome memories. And to think I'm a professional artist now!

The intro brought me quite close to tears from being a true 80's baby, born 1980....
Haven't heard that theme song in 25 years, but as soon as it started, I could whistle along. Crazy the way music stays with you
Intro music starts and I instantly reverted to my 9 year old self. Loved this program.

I remember watching Mr Mihuta for our art class in 5th grade back in the 80s. The music, all of his techniques. So much fun!
We watched this at school in the 80s... such great memories🙂😊
Dan Mihuta was a true gentleman. I used to work at a PBS affiliated agency and he visited our area severally times to do workshops for teachers.
Nice!

His drawing is very impressive. As for the theme song, I know I've heard it in another show, but I'm not sure which one. It was years ago.
I found it! It's "Guys and Gals" by Roger Webb. ua-cam.com/video/JqZt1p5PxBM/v-deo.html&ab_channel=AlexB
