not 100% sure... idrive 7 is using some different algorithms so not necessarily. but there should have been a similar update for the iX3 (i'd check with your local dealer to be sure).
Update for you… So there are no full EVs for iDrive7 in the US, so we didn’t get the iX3… But from what appears in the My BMW app for plug-in hybrids I would assume that there is a similar update for any EVs using iDrive7 overseas
